Hello there Captains!
Exploring the universe, we spend most of our time on our ship. So it's our mission at DP Aerospace to make your ship a flying dream home, offering brand-new custom ship habs with a focus on immersion and interactivity—along with your very own Dream Mansion Player Home in New Atlantis!
Some of you might know this from Nexus, starting as the infamous Pool Hab, constantly growing along the way. So here it is! Still my very first mod ever, still and always a Work in Progress, but I'm proud to share the process.
What you need:
- Shattered Space DLC
- Place Doors Yourself
- A mod of your choice to allow some overlap tolerance in the ship builder (Recommended: Ship Builder Configurator)
What you get:
✅ Elevators (3, 4, 5, and 6 floors, 4-way) ✅ 3x3x3 Health Center (functional gym, working elevator, medical bay, showers, functional mirrors to change clothes, and more!) ✅ 3x3x3 Command Center (Vigilance-style with all mission boards and more!) ✅ 3x3x2 Swimming Pool Hab (with Pool Bar, Relax Area, automatic pool cleaning, and more!) ✅ 3x3x2 Work Shop / Machine Room (all workbenches, security booth, and a little surprise!) ✅ 2x2x1 Captain's Quarter (working TV, fireplace, cooking station, and more!) ✅ 2x2x1 Master Bathroom (working shower, bathtub, mud bath, sauna, washing machines, lavatory, etc.) ✅ 1x3x1 Engineering Cross Hab / Control Room (with door curtains) ✅ 1x1x1 Crew Bathroom (working showers and bathroom) ✅ DPA Hope X (huge hangar bay with built-in workshop and more!) ✅ DPA CX Cabot (luxury Nova Cabot version with built-in brig and storage room!) ✅ DPA Insanity C class Reactor (with built-in Grav Booster!)
And last but not least: 🏠 Your very own Dream Home in New Atlantis! (Based on Sonny di Falco's villa, but majorly upgraded!)
Upcoming Features:
I'm currently working on a small settlement that will include:
🏢 DP Aerospace Headquarters
🏥 A hospital
🛍️ Shops and much more!
Once this is finished, I will make it and the mansion optional and provide a "Modules Only" variant as well.
Important Infos:
🚪 The Ship Builder shows where doors are possible.
🚪 Place Doors Yourself is a MUST HAVE! (My habs are designed for this mod, and they won't work without it!)
⚠️ Swimming Pool Water in Space:
While swimming animations still work, the water surface glitches in zero gravity. It seems to follow the player's movement, but only stays calm in world spaces. (I really, really wish I could fix this! If anyone has an idea, please let me know!)
⚠️ Water Physics in Space:
No waves or splashes occur inside a spaceship, even with raytracing-related keywords applied. (Not sure if this is fixable!)
⚠️ Planet Hazards in the Pool Water:
The water normally inherits planetary hazards. (I applied an effect to prevent damage, but the environmental warning still appears.)
⚠️ Landing Issue with the Dream Mansion:
The ship does not land directly at the mansion's pad due to its proximity to New Atlantis Spaceport. (However, when talking to "Alfred" or the barkeeper to modify your ship, it will spawn at the landing pad.)
If anyone knows how to fix this, please let me know!
