Reworks player bounties so that killing all witnesses to crimes you commit in space removes the bounties for those crimes.
This mod tracks crimes you commit against ships in space until either all the witnesses are dead or you leave the area. Once you have eliminated all witnesses, the bounty for the original crime and any additional bounties incurred while eliminating witnesses are removed. If you leave the area before killing the last witness, e.g. by landing on a planet or grav jumping away, you'll have to pay the bounties off the normal way.
You can eliminate witnesses either by destroying a ship, or by boarding it and killing its crew. So if you find a GalBank ship and its escort, you can attack and destroy the escort, attack and board the GalBank ship, kill all the crew, take all the loot, and commandeer the ship and add it to your fleet, and the accumulated bounty for all these acts will be wiped.
This makes piracy much more viable as a career, since you can avoid the massive bounties from destroying ships and killing their crews. It also makes bounty hunting Crimson Fleet ships possible if you are a member of the Crimson Fleet yourself.
