This mod adds simple new bonus effects to the first rank of each ranged weapon skill, or in some cases moves the max rank bonus to the first rank and adds a new max rank bonus instead.
I wanted something super lightweight to make each weapon class a little more distinct from each other. I focused on the first ranks because I wanted to make investing a single point into each skill an interesting alternative to putting all your points into just one or two skills.
The new effects:
Ballistics: 30% increased range (moved from rank 4). At rank 4, adds a 5% chance to stagger targets.
Lasers: 30% more accuracy in general.
Pistols: 30% more accuracy while moving.
Shotguns: 30% more accuracy when shooting without aiming.
Heavy Guns: 25% physical damage resist while aiming down sights (moved from rank 4). At rank 4, deal 50% more damage to targets below half health.
Incapacitation: Additional EM damage builds up on the target for three seconds.
Particle Beams: Magazine size increased by 25%. Rank 4: After landing a critical hit, your next attack has +25% crit chance.
Rifles: 30% more accuracy while standing still.
COMPATIBILITY: Anything else that edits the above eight perks will be incompatible - the mod that's lower in your load order will win any conflicts. Bugfixes for the Particle Beams, Lasers, and Pistol Cert skills from the Starfield Community Patch are implemented in this mod as well.
