The Den: Under New Management Again

Universe after universe, I seem to end up spending a lot of time at the Den. I convinced this Walter to really step up the game. Sure, it was a little manipulative. I just kept talking to Sarah about what a shame it was that nobody invested in the Den and what an opportunity is going to waste. I mean, all those LIST colonists have got to stock up on travel snacks somewhere. I ran into someone who didn't even have one drink pack!
The Den has vending machines that help with research and all the crafting stations. It also has a lot more storage. Before, they had me shoved in a corner with nothing but a chest. Now, I have a legit little room with 20K storage and displays to show off my special weapons and gear. Orville used this opportunity to suggest going with a Vanguard/UC theme, like they had back in the glory days. I have got to admit. It looks a lot nicer. Walter hit the UC Surplus pretty hard. What was unexpected was how Orville got pretty riled up by Walter investing in the Den. He opened up a legit Terrabrew kiosk in the bar. Best part? In this universe, all the food laying around leftover is now free. Pretty sweet when you are first starting out. The Den is as comfortable a starting place as the Lodge.
The contraband in the Trade Authority office offers a fun little challenge or could give you a first class ticket to the Crimson Fleet, if you wish. Compatible with Darkstar Astrodynamics and Green and Gold.

1.101.10 I went back in and added a weapons rack in the Vanguard area, since the Lodge has similar items. I cleaned up a bit around the pharmaceutical station and made sure that all the food really was available to take after finding a few items I missed.

1.001.00 This creation represents a near overhaul of my first creation. I redecorated most areas of the Den, added more lore, storage that rivals the Lodge, a Terrabrew Kiosk, and display space for player items. With this build, the Den really is like having a player home, without having a player home. You may even be more likely to use the Den than a player home, since you do not have to land on any planet and will not have any load screens to get to everything you need.
