Description:
In vanilla Starfield, the Chronomark watch appears ONLY TWICE during the whole game (main quest intro)… and then it’s gone forever. This mod changes that.
The Chronomark watch is now your gateway to the compass HUD:
The compass no longer sits on your screen at all times.
Instead, it only appears when you check your watch.
After checking, the compass will remain visible for a customizable amount of time (adjustable in the in-game Gameplay Options menu).
Perfect for players seeking maximum Starfield immersion — after all, who idly stares at their watch every five seconds in real life?
How to Install:
Mod Organizer 2: Install as usual. Or, Creation Club: Search for the mod by name and download.
How to Use:
Once installed and get into the game, you will automatically receive a consumable item called: "== Check Chronomark Watch ==".
Assign it to a Favourite slot, and use it whenever you want to. It will:
Trigger the watch animation.
Display the compass HUD for your chosen duration.
FAQ:
Q1: Can you display the compass HUD directly on the watch model? A1: No. This would require SFSE support, and SFSE mods cannot be published on Creation Club.
Q2: Can the watch use the wrist animation while wearing a spacesuit? A2: Not reliably. I could edit specific spacesuits to prevent clipping with the watch model, but that would drastically reduce compatibility, since it would require similar edits for every other custom spacesuit mod.
