This mod is a focused overhaul of the NPC specialists and elite crew members found throughout the Settled Systems. It is designed to ensure that your crew actually feels like the "specialists" their titles claim they are, while giving elite companions perks that better align with their lore and unique backgrounds.
Key Features Generic Crew Specialist Overhaul: All hirable generic crew members have been elevated to a 4-star rating. In the base game, a "Specialist" often only carries a 1-star proficiency; this adjustment ensures that hiring a professional actually yields professional-grade results for your ship and outposts.
Elite Crew & Companion Refinement: All named elite crew members have received comprehensive perk adjustments. These changes are designed to make their mechanical contributions feel thematic and impactful, aligned with their specific backstories.
Vasco – The Ultimate Machine: Vasco has been significantly buffed to reflect his nature as a specialized exploration and robotics unit. His programming now allows for "perfect efficiency," making him an incredibly powerful asset for starship operations and ground support.
NPC Fixes: Includes minor, non-intrusive fixes for select NPCs to resolve various issues, such as corrected clothing assignments and basic logic.
Technical Details & Load Order This mod focuses strictly on NPC and Companion records. To ensure these changes take effect and aren't overwritten by other AI or NPC scaling mods, please follow the placement guide below:
Load Order Category: Factions & NPC Overhauls (Block 6) or Final Authority (Block 13) if you want to ensure these specific perk spreads win every conflict.
Compatibility: This mod edits NPC Actor records. It may conflict with other mods that change the physical appearance or base stats of the same hirable crew members.
