NAT Station Lake Windows
Community Rating
A small but impactful New Atlantis edit.
- Changes the aquariums in the NAT station into windows looking out into the lake.
- Flora and fauna visible under the water.
- Includes architecture edits necessary to plug gaps.
- Lighting will look a little different.
- Added more underwater objects and plants, very soft overhaul to the lake.
- A few surface Lilypads that may have been intended for use in New Atlantis.
- Mod is based on concept art, and possibly early development, where the windows were underwater.
- Compatible with New Atlantis mods and mods that reuse New Atlantis assets.
This version loses you a few FPS, should be okay for light modlists or gaming PCs, mileage may vary on Series S. If you enjoy this change, track me and follow what I do, as you may also like my future mods, almost all my WIPs are water themed or city mods. Let me know issues, particularly on console, I can be found in the Bethesda Discord server or on Nexusmods as Hycas.

2.1.0- Jellyfish have a unique material that's better than the two before. No new or large textures.
- Made water fog less green, less colourful, and more opaque. At night it looks closer to how murky lake water looks.
- Water glass face material is less green, more opaque, less shiny (that's the glass pane's thing), better distorted.
- My materials now use falloff effect which makes water look more like water.
- Slightly lower water fog ceiling, this is because very far away the fog becomes lower res and goes out of the water.
- Corner fish group tiny pos change. Scale 1.2->1.25. Actually, I'm not going to detail tiny changes like that from here.
- One more fish group at the rightmost window (by the Well elevator).
- Tweaked caustics.
- Water surface has smaller waves and is a bit more opaque and reflective.
- Added some shimmer from the 'heatshimmer' non hazardous FX, similar to my unpublished underwater locations.
- Surface scale and flow direction consistency changes. Flow is still weird.
- New external flowing nonshadow spotlight inspired by working on my houseboat mod.
- Back side fog is wider.
- Checked plugin with xedit but didn't find dirty edits anyway.
- Uploaded to PS5
