Important Before Installing or update: Before installing this mod, please make sure to leave New Atlantis and possibly even the entire planet for safety. This will help avoid potential issues during installation.
Mod Features:
New Roads & Buildings: New pathways and buildings have been added, making New Atlantis feel more expansive and lively. A Short River: For the first time, New Atlantis has its very own river! Though small, it adds a nice dynamic to the environment. Dynamic NPC Movement: NPCs in New Atlantis have always had dynamic movement, but with this update, I’ve added many more NPCs to populate the city. They now follow their regular schedules, coming and going at specific times, making the city feel even more vibrant and alive. New Locations: There are several new locations added to New Atlantis. While they currently do not have names, I plan to add names, markers on the map, and fast travel options in the future. Spaceport Changes: Many NPCs are now employed at the spaceport, making it busier than ever. The viewport also features new elements, and you'll notice new cafeterias and spaces within some of the buildings. Static Ships & Pads: For now, landing pads and ships remain static due to technical challenges, but I am working towards a more dynamic system. This is still in beta, and much will change by version 1.0.
City-Wide Improvements Atmosphere Overhaul – Enhanced ambience with wind direction effects, blowing leaves, added smoke in key locations, and subtle particle effects throughout the city. Massive NPC Expansion – Dozens of new NPCs now populate the city. They follow daily schedules and interact with the new areas, making New Atlantis feel alive in a way it never has before. Environmental Details – From added trash piles in alleys to building-side clutter and adjusted terrain, the city now feels more lived-in and authentic. Spaceport Enhancements – The area is busier than ever, with new cafeterias, vendors, and visible activity. Many new workers now have actual jobs and routines. Terrain Work – The city’s foundation is nearly complete, with groundwork in place for future expansions.
A Lot of Small Changes: There are many subtle changes throughout the mod that might not be immediately noticeable but significantly improve the overall feel of New Atlantis. From adjustments to the placement of small objects, improved textures in certain areas, and fine-tuning of NPC behavior, there are far too many details to list. These small changes collectively contribute to a more immersive and polished experience.
