This is a rebalance of the ship parts in the ship builder. In the base game the reactors have hundreds to 1000+ hull while the highest hull on any other part of the ship is 5. I know why Bethesda did it this way, it ensured that ships that needed higher skill would be tougher than those that did not. I wanted ship size to be as important and reactor class. This cuts reactor hull in half, and raises the hull from habs and other components making size of the ship as important as the reator. I didn't stop there though. Now all habs except living quarters, and captains quarters add at least one crew slot. Yet i still wasn't happy so i added cargo capacity and weight to balance the cargo to the cargo habs. that made turning an issue so i also added funcional maneuvering thrust to the structural and landing gear pieces that had visual thrusters on them.
new this update lasers and balistic weapons have +1k range, and now no weapons cost more than 3 energy.
