This is the Proto Cutlass. An early prototype cutlass, built with high tech manufacturing processes to give it a sharper edge than competing melee weapon blades.
How to obtain: To obtain the Proto Cutlass, simply go to your nearest Industrial Workbench. The first tier will be available to craft immediately. However to manufacture more advanced tiers you will need the necessary research.
The research tiers are as such:
Standard -n/a
Sharpened -Handle Mods 01 -Blade Mods 01
Tempered -Handle Mods 02 -Blade Mods 02
Extruded -Handle Mods 02 -Blade Mods 02 -Internal Mods 03
