What's inside

  1. Sleep anywhere with a Portable Bed to recover, pass time, and reset shop inventories faster.
  2. Auto-sort contraband and most junk with AutoTransfer to your HOME SHIP for safer, cleaner runs.
  3. Skip repetitive sequences with Quick Dock/Undock to reclaim real playtime.
  4. Light your path with The Bright Side, an anti-gravity glow stick, to navigate caves and outposts confidently.
  5. Break through locked doors with Gunpick tied to your Security rank for fair, balance and fast access.
  6. Boost persuasion skills with NeuroAmp Vendetta for higher Instigation/Manipulation success on human targets.
    • Instigation Rank Bonuses 7.5%/15%/22.5%/30% At Rank 4, you'll have a total of 70% chance of success
    • Manipulation Rank Bonuses 10%/20%/30%/40% At Rank 4, you'll have a total of 70% chance of success
  7. Can you find the 4 hidden achievements!?

How to get/use

  1. Travel to New Atlantis - Spaceport.
  2. You can buy each of the items from the Terminals located at Jemison Mercantile next to the Coat Rack. There are 2 Terminals:
    • 2a: Daze0 - General Goods which sells the "Portable Bed" and "The Bright Side" a handy glowstick to reduce the chances of getting lost.
    • 2b: Daze0 - Specialized Goods which sells the Gunpick, Skeleton Key (ammo), NeuroAmp Vendetta.
  3. How to Use in game:
    • Portable Bed: Equip from inventory to drop underfoot, or favorite -> throw activator -> Activate to place.
    • AutoTransfer: Enter your HOME SHIP -> choose Enable/Disable in the prompt (ask again or don't).
    • Quick Dock/Undock: Event occurs when player enters their HOME SHIP; pick Yes/No with options to re-prompt in approximately 1 hr REAL TIME* or 4 hrs REAL TIME*. You'll be prompted each time your "Home Ship" changes. At this time, the Base game is NOT dependent on the Docking/Undocking Cinematic. I can only assume it was for "immersion" purposes, as loading for Ships/The Eye/ Space Stations etc only occur when you open the hatch to board.
    • The Bright Side: Find in Aid, favorite it, use like an aid item to drop a global illumination light that hovers at the player's shoulder upon use, so it's easier to see when you're downstairs, or lower than the Glowstick. It has a long view distance, but the illumination only extends about 2 meters which will affect stealth if you're under.
    • Gunpick: Requires Security skill (rank-gated). Use Gunpick + ammo; Rank 4 enables a reusable Grandmaster Key (cost applies).
    • NeuroAmp Vendetta: Equip; bonuses scale with your Instigation and Manipulation ranks (human targets only). Requires the appropriate perk to gain benefits. While Playing the game I noticed that unlike all the other skills, Instigation and Manipulation never received a boost to effectiveness each time you ranked it up. After playing it, I found that 70% was a balanced approach. Hopefully, you'll feel the same way.

Compatibility & requirements

  1. Platforms: PC / Xbox
  2. Achievement-safe: Yes
  3. Load order: Place after mods that alter New Atlantis Spaceport vendors or vendor containers.
  4. Frameworks/Patches: None.
  5. Known conflicts: Mods that add competing quick-dock systems or player to ship inventory management may conflict, but you can always just choose to have it disabled. AutoTransfer doesn't add shielded cargo; buy that from ship vendors.

Notes

  1. The Bright Side lasts ~2 real life hours and affects stealth by design.
  2. Quick Dock/Undock can re-prompt on a 1 hr / 4 hrs timer based on REAL LIFE TIME WHILE PLAYING, if you choose those options. It will NOT retrigger from time skips from sleeping/waiting or furniture.
  3. AutoTransfer runs on ENTERING YOUR HOME SHIP ONLY; contraband safety still depends on shielded cargo you install.

Items included

  1. Portable Bed - "If you can stand there, you can sleep there."
    • Type: Utility (activator via aid/favorite)
    • What it does: Lets you sleep anywhere by placing a bed horizontally at your feet or by tossing an activator and Activating it. Speeds rest, time-skip, and shop reset loops.
    • How to get/use: Purchase from the Daze0 - General Goods terminal in Jemison Mercantile left of the counter by the coat rack. Equip to place underfoot, or favorite -> throw -> Activate. Upon activating the activator, the activator goes back in your inventory.
    • Notes: Designed for quick placement; ideal for daylight skips and vendor resets.
    • Compatibility: Adds items/vendor entry to a unique npc; no vanilla records intentionally overwritten.
  2. AutoTransfer - "Customs can't seize what's already stowed."
    • Type: Utility (quest/scripted)
    • What it does: On entering your Home Ship, prompts you to auto-send contraband, misc, and resources to ship storage - reducing risk and clutter. Does NOT transfer manufactured items
    • How to get/use: Enter Home Ship -> choose Enable/Disable (ask again or don't).
    • Notes: Requires your own shielded cargo (not included) to help avoid scans.
    • Compatibility: Uses player ship events; patch if another mod replaces the same event logic.
  3. Quick Docking & Undocking - "Dock. Do. Depart."
    • Type: Utility (QoL)
    • What it does: Offers a prompt to streamline docking/undocking, cutting repeated downtime.
    • How to get/use: Enter your HOME SHIP and you'll be prompted with a Message Box. Pick Yes/No, with re-prompt options in 1 hr or 4 hrs REAL TIME while playing NOT game time. I.e. resting on furniture or skipping time will not speed up the prompt reappearance.
    • Notes: Toggle anytime via the prompt when it appears per your timer choice.
    • Compatibility: May conflict with mods that overhaul docking sequences; if you have other quick docking/undocking mods enable, may be best to disable it in this mod to reduce conflicts. Quick docking does NOT affect anything at this time in the base game. If you have issues please contact me. E-mail is at the bottom of the page
  4. The Bright Side - "Don't get lost in the dark... seek The Bright Side."
    • Type: Utility (aid-driven light activator)
    • What it does: Drops an anti-gravity glowstick that hovers at shoulder-height pointing in your travel direction; great for breadcrumbs and orientation. Affects stealth. Lasts ~2 hours.
    • How to get/use: Purchase from the Daze0 - General Goods terminal in Jemison Mercantile left of the counter by the coat rack. Find in Aid, favorite, and use to drop.
    • Notes: No collision/physics enabled on activation by design to avoid clutter jams. Physics and collision is enabled if dropped from inventory
  5. Gunpick - "One shot. One lock."
    • Type: Weaponized utility (lock bypass)
    • What it does: Bypass digipick game using ammo-based keys gated by your Security rank. At Rank 4, unlock access to a reusable Grandmaster Key (cost: 1,000,000 credits).
    • Requirements: 1 rank in Security
    • How to get/use: Purchase from the Daze0 - Specialized Goods terminal in Jemison Mercantile left of the counter by the coat rack. Ensure you have the required Security rank for the lock tier or it won't show in the merchants inventory; use Gunpick + correct ammo.
    • Notes: Balances speed with progression; respects skill gating. Also, the prompt you receive, if you're on a slower machine or xbox, I recommend updating the ammo to match the keys in your inventory at a higher time cycle i.e. 10s instead of 2s etc. if there are any reduced performance issues.
  6. NeuroAmp Vendetta - "Whispers become marching orders."
    • Type: Utility (wearable effect)
    • Requirements: 1 rank in Instigation OR Manipulation
    • What it does: Raises success chance for Instigation and Manipulation on human targets, scaling with your current ranks of instigation and manipulation (up to ~70% where applicable).
    • How to get/use: Purchase from the Daze0 - Specialized Goods terminal in Jemison Mercantile left of the counter by the coat rack. Equip; use your social powers as usual.
    • Notes: Instigation/Manipulation scale independently; you don't need both at the same level.

REAL TIME note

  1. REAL TIME means actual game hours while playing. If you rest on a furniture or time skip, you are skipping "GAME TIME" not REAL TIME. Unsure if it'll "pass time" while the game is turned off.
