#This is the actual working weapons skin. I just realized that the one I uploaded was not, but one of the failed tests. I apologize for any inconvenience.

I test all of my creations extensively, you can rest assured that all of my creations were tested on PC, PS5 and will soon be tested on Xbox as well. I started on Playstation, so I know what console players have to deal with when it comes to restrictions and save corruption. I will never release a creation to console that will corrupt your save or crash your game.

========================================================================================================================================== This is a prototype skin that was developed by the MAST Defense Research and Initiatives Program as the Urban Eagle that may one day become the standard issue Officers sidearm for the UC Vanguard Marines.

At first there were talks about absorbing the UC Vanguard into the standing Marines under the department of The Navy as a regular military unit. However that was put on hold due to complaints by actual Vanguard Officers who saw this move as a restriction and loss of the rights and freedoms afforded them under the current structure.

Yet, with the growing threats to The UC way of life like the recent Terrermorph Crisis and The Terran Incursion; talks have been resumed. It is reported that there is a proposition to form a new unit within the existing Vanguard to combat these growing threats as well as any new threats that may arise. With recent tensions between the Free Star Collective and the UC mounting; some say that the time has come, and that such a unit is needed now more than ever.

In any case; weather or not the UCVM will ever be formed or is destined to remain in a file buried in a stack of paper somewhere deep in MAST; this is the skin for the Urban Eagle model 09P sidearm that will or would have been issued to every UCVM officer upon completion of Officer training.

This is my first weapon skin and I actually worked for over two weeks trying to get it to show up in game. Today I worked non-stop since 8am and at the time of release it is 5:13pm. It was not easy, but now that I know how make them there will be more on the way and I will work diligently to improve my technique. So stay tuned, there will be more volumes of V is for Vanguard: Weapon skins to come; as well as installments of all of the V is for Vanguard series.

I first started playing Starfield on April 22nd of this year (2026) when it came out on PlayStation. Since then I have not played any other game. I grew up playing video games my whole life and I do own a decent collection; but nothing has ever came close to touching me like this game did. Since April, I have logged over 1200 hours on PlayStation and 300+ hours on PC since June 27th that is an average of 17 hours and 26 minutes played every single day! And this does not even include the hundreds of hours spent in the creation kit. There are days when I would literally play all day long and since switching to PC there are days like today that were spent entirely in the Creation Kit trying to work out what went wrong during testing and attempting (and sometimes succeeding) to correct it. I eat, live, breathe and even sleep Starfield. That is why this community means so much to me. I sincerely want you to be able to experience this wonderful game and to be able to enjoy it like I do.
