🔍 Overview 360 Directional Movement updates Starfield’s third‑person traversal so your character runs in any direction without backpedalling. Instead of being locked to the camera, your character turns to face the direction it is actually moving, while the camera stays fully under your control.

This creates smoother, more natural movement similar to modern action games. The mod is an early release, but already stable and fully playable.

🎮 Features True 360° movement
Your character rotates to face the direction of travel instead of playing backpedal or strafe animations.

Camera remains untouched
You still aim freely; the character simply follows your movement direction.

Smooth turning behavior
Rotation accelerates and eases into place rather than snapping instantly.

Applies to:

Walking

Jogging

Jumping (weapon holstered)

Vanilla behavior preserved:

Sprinting

Ladder climbing

Zero‑gravity movement

Sitting

Holding a weapon These exclusions fix ladder and zero‑G issues from earlier versions.

🧩 Included Animation Files The archive includes empty replacements for movement‑start animations. These animations normally contain root motion that fights the rotation, causing a small slide when beginning movement.

Blanking them removes that slide with negligible visual cost. They will be removed once the underlying interaction is properly fixed.
