This changes the appearance of the crowds in the main cities. It adds much more detail, and variety to the NPCs. The clothing the NPCs wear cant be worn by the player. All clothing the NPCs wear will be converted for the player to wear in my other free mods.

WHAT THIS MOD DOES

  • Randomly applies new items to the NPCs (clothing, hats, helmets, masks, glasses, backpacks, jewelry, and hair)
  • The crowd system was split into 4 to allow for a unique look in each of the 4 cities (New Atlantis, Neon, Akila, and Cydonia).
  • The color palette of the clothing was toned down to a more faded lived in look.
  • Outfits that were not replaced have had there shape altered for the Basis, and Thin body types. (Large body types were left vanilla) ZBB was used as a template to shape all. ZBB mod is not required.
  • Each city has a couple unique hand crafted rare NPCs that will spawn on occasion to mix things up even further.

UPDATES

  • I apologize to those I seem to have offended with the removal of the elderly in two of the cities. I have nothing against them, and I did this from a design point of view. Having them walking around in Neon with Mohawks, and street clothes felt out of place, and not the look I was going for so I made the decision to remove them. Since this was one of the main issues with the mod I have added them back into Cydonia, and Neon. Again I apologize, and meant no offence.
  • I slightly lowered the chance for backpacks to appear on NPCs.
  • I removed the Constellation patch from the explorer backpack.
  • I fixed some typos in some material files.

CONFLICTS

  • Anything that changes the crowds will cause issues.
  • Best to keep this mod low on the load order. (allow this to load last so it takes priority)

BE ADVISED

  • In all the testing I did, and had others do, there was little to no performance issues. With the amount of changes this mod makes though people with low end machines may notice a slight performance hit.

INSTALLING / UNINSTALLING

  • If you install mid playthrough you'll need to reload the cell before you can see changes to the NPCs. To do this just enter/exit a building, or enter/exit your ship. In some cases you'll need to leave the planet and come back.
  • If you uninstall mid playthrough you'll need to reload the cell before NPCs will change back to vanilla. To do this just enter/exit a building, or enter/exit your ship. In some cases you'll need to leave the planet and come back.

I hope this makes your gameplay more immersive and fun. Enjoy!
