Where to find it? You can find this ship for sale at the New Atlantis Ship Services Technician.

What is it? Gameplay Style: RP, Casual Combat Capability: Good

Eag's Ship Shop wanted to take a look to the UC's past and score the ability to resurrect a handful of old decommissioned ship designs that were once in heavy use by the United Colonies Navigator Corps: A branch of the UC Navy once dedicated to the exploration of space.

Additionally, the lead designer of Eag's Ship Shop, having very good relations with the UC Cabinet members, scored permission to bring back three of the Navigator Corps designs for the general public. Sarah Morgan of Constellation has been one of our long-time partners in ship design consultation. It also just so happens that she was once the director for the Navigator Corps shortly before it's closure. So together, Eag's Ship Shop and Ms. Morgan, we have brought a small handful of these legendary Navigator Corps back to life! Starting with this ship pictured here now: The Atlas-Class Surveyor!

The Atlas was once considered the 'workhorse' of the Navigator Corps. It was often sent out to star systems first, on it's own, to assess a star system's viability for a larger expedition. The large forward sensor array contracted by Taiyo provided the means for fast and efficient scans of all bodies in a system, as well as any anomalies that might require further investigation.

At a glance, the Atlas's external design resembles the standard Deimos/United Colonies aesthetics, however it still stands on it's own. This is a common theme we've seen while pouring over the various vessel blueprints the UC Cabinet gave us. And this was intentional. The original designers of the Atlas, and other Navigator Corps vessels, wished to have all the Navigator Corps vessels stand out on their own, while still appearing to be a part of the UC Navy. You may even notice the keel-mounted DS20.3 Phobos C*ckpit at the bottom of the bow! This is standard to all Navigator Corps vessels, and Ms. Morgan has noted that the vessels were designed this way intentionally because Navigator Corps personnel spent a lot of time looking down.

The Atlas's primary forward sensor array was originally contracted from Taiyo, and it's main sublight drives from Slayton. Most of these vessels were designed shortly after the Colony War. So this was an odd time of intentional cooperation between the United Colonies and the Freestar Collective. Both sides wished to maintain peace, and publicly display gestures of goodwill. Allowing Slayton drives and Taiyo scanners on select Navigator Corps vessels was one such gesture.

This legendary jack-of-all-trades ship was built to go solo, however it could also be a great team player. It was often seen escorting larger expedition fleets, including fleets with an Acropolis-Class flagship, or assisting with remote outpost construction, or even working with other Atlas-Class vessels to perform system scans.

And the Atlas-Class is now available for all, courtesy of the United Colonies, and rebuilt to-spec by us at Eag's Ship Shop. Come on and grab one today! It's already a huge hit with Navigator Corps veterans and private individuals alike!

The Acropolis-Class Operations Cruiser: Only a small few were built, this was the Navigator Corps' choice for expeditionary fleet C-Class flagships. https://creations.bethesda.net/en/starfield/details/2dbaca90-b675-48e2-8548-cd323b037bd4/UC_Navigator_Corps_Acropolis_Class_Operations_Crui
