Old Walter always wanted the United Colonies to contract with Stroud-Eklund for their naval vessels, but his requests were continuously denied by the UC due to their longstanding relationship with Deimos Staryards.
Seeing that the commercial success behind the Kepler series was largely due to Eag's Ship Shop involvement, Stroud personally asked us if we would take the lead in designing a new military-grade frigate that might just catch the UC's eye. We of course, without hesistation, obliged.
Enter the Decatur-Class Frigate. A massive B-Class naval warfare vessel, with a massive spinal mounted particle cannon array. Fast, maneuverable, and very very furious, the Decatur will leave the opponent little time to rip the emergency ejection lever.
The Decatur-Class is available now, to any private citizen or organization wishing to travel space just a little bit safer.
