Describe Yourself
Most know me from the Settled Systems, where I serve as Chair of an explorers’ group known as Constellation. I began my career in the United Colonies Navy-structure, order, protocol. I believed in it. In many ways, I still do. After losing people I cared about, and watching bureaucracy fail where courage was needed, I realised I wanted more. Not medals. Not orders. Purpose. That is what led me to Constellation. We are explorers. Not just of space, but of ideas. Of what we were, what we are, and what we might yet become. It isn’t easy. The universe rarely is. People often say I’m a bit too serious. That I follow the rules too closely. Perhaps I do. I have a duty to uphold our standards at Constellation. When the galaxy is full of chaos and uncertainty, it helps to believe in something constant—even if it is simply doing the right thing when no one is watching.
