I love that you can play Starfield in so many different ways. Some can lean into cozy outpost and ship building. Others can explore and experience the beauty of different worlds and wildlife with a fantastic photo mode. There can be a lot of combat with a nice variety of guns and gear for those that want to lean into the gunplay in side and radiant quests. It is some of the best of science fiction applied to a Bethesda formula that I know and love, and I pray they continue to build on the lore in more expansions.

The diversity of playstyles and endless possibilities
From the ship combat that reminds me of Freelancer, to the voice acting, to the freedom with everything, even mods... and the ability to start over whenever you like, keeping your skills.
Ship building is my main draw but I love the sandbox that Starfield is. The vibe and aesthetic, the freedom, the gameplay feel..it all feels really good. I play with Creations mods, so thanks to the mothers, the game has really expanded for me.
i love, love, love the grounded feel when it comes to the technology. buttons, dials, levers, and knobs! not a single touchscreen in sight! the more upbeat, hopeful tone the game has overall is also great. humanity forges ever on.
The reason I'm so drawn to Starfield & have over 3000 hours (and counting) in the game is because Starfield TRULY allows you to be who you want & do what you want, wanna build your favourite sci-fi ship & explore the universe? You can!
the potential. the open-endedness. the (relatively) grounded setting. the ethos of constellation.
I've wanted a space sci-fi game from Bethesda ever since I first stepped into the alien (albeit fantasy) world of Morrowind. 20+ years later, Starfield delivered.
I adore the roleplay, the story, the gameplay, and the lore of the game. Especially the lore. I thirst to uncover and learn as much worldbuilding as I may. I also mod the game for more immersion and smoother power usage.
I was first drawn in by the mystery of the main storyline, but eventually I found a lot of enjoyment in exploring. Overall, I really enjoy the integration of research and scientific discovery in Starfield’s gameplay and storytelling.
The freedom to forge my own path the way I like and do what I want in any order without worries. And Jerry, my flat beetle pet.
I love the atmosphere of Starfield. From the generally optimistic worldview it presents, to the nihilistic perspectives portrayed by those caught up in the hunt for the Unity. There's so much to explore in its concepts and I can't wait to learn more about this universe!
Too many.
The mysteries of the Settled Systems and seeing what's out there.
It was free.
I love the gameplay and the mods are a bonus
