Easier load order creation, game photo improvements and more
I'm constantly aiming to improve the site as I start to announce it in more places. Here's some of the changes so far this week:
Load Order Management
- For PC players, I've added a way for them to upload their modlist.txt or loadorder.txt file and the site will translate that into a shareable load order others can browse. I cannot import Nexus mods on the site, so we've built a way to flag those in the load order and provide a way to access them on that site. Also, the original file you upload is available to all to view or download.
- For Xbox players, I've added a mod quick search form at the bottom to quickly find the Bethesda creations you use and add them to your load order. I've also updated the load order editor to shrink the size of the rows for easier reordering and added controls to let you quickly move a mod to the top or the bottom of your load order.
- Added more stats at the top to call out free vs. paid creations more with a total, in credits, of the paid creations in a load order.
Game Photos
- Added tags so you can easily click all those that apply for new/existing photos you add to the site.
- Added a way to link your photo to a creation on the site.
- Created a new user role I can apply to users who are adding several photos that allows your new uploads to be instantly approved (so no waiting for me to review & approve them).
- Provide new sorting options to see the most liked photos.
Miscellaneous
- Lots of improvements for mobile devices (better use of space, positioning, wrapping, etc). I know there's probably more to do here, so I'll continue fixing things as needed.
- YouTube clip sync fixes (trying to filter out more non-Starfield stuff), and adding several one-offs myself.
- Updated icons used to provide a better fit for the theme of the site
- Created a feed of all activity on the site that I can use to help monitor its use. I'm thinking I'll probably adapt a version of it for all users soon since it's pretty handy to see at a glance all the latest things.
