NO LONGER SUPPORTED. CHECK OUT "TN's Class M (and Starborn Guardian) Ship Building" INSTEAD!
V2.0.5 Changes to the ship builder X,Y & Z Positions
V2.0.4 Moved all of the NEW M-Class parts Bethesda added on the 12th June to C-Class. These are fully functional Reactors, Shields, Grav Drives & Engines M-Class parts from Bethesda themselves. They HAVE also fixed a few snapping points on a few of the M-Class structure parts. YOU WILL still have to experiement as there is plenty of work arounds and I cant list them all BUT you can connect normal habs to certain M-Class habs and then connect those M-Class habs to the M-Class structures.
V2.0.1 Added 2 new Reactors. These are based on the M-Class reactors but classed as C-Class.These are called the "Galaxy Catalyst" Reactor's. It has a higher power ouput starting at 80 power and another one at 100 power with the credit cost increased. Other items will be added overtime.
NEW V2 UPDATE!!! *** PLEASE READ 13/06/2024*** This is a complete update overhaul for the utmost compatibility.
To update to this mod, please delete M-Class Unlocked, FORCE CLOSE / REBOOT your game, redownload, and REBOOT your game once again. This is due to the new ini file I have made changes to, and these won’t take effect until the game has been fully restarted!!
So, as most of you are aware, there were a fair few bugs with the past versions, and they did get resolved, but it wasn’t flawless. With this new v2 update, I have completely redone this mod from scratch, removing all scripts. I left the Pilot skill and other Pilot-related files UNTOUCHED, so you will no longer have conflicts with any mod that changed these files.
You will notice when building your ship that the camera itself has been tweaked. You will have more flexibility when placing parts (giving you the chance to make even more cursed ships).
You will also notice that you don’t see any M-Class parts such as reactors, shields, grav drives, etc. That is because I have made them all C-Class parts, so you can continue to build your “M-Class Ship” with C-Class parts such as weapons!! :)
The New Atlantis Technician has had all keywords removed, so you will no longer have every ship part unlocked, returning back to the vanilla gameplay. If you want this option returning, then contact me, and I’ll make it into a standalone mod.
Until further notice, vanilla restrictions are still in place. I am actively looking into removing these so you can build more reactors, turrets, grav drives, shields, etc., making your M-Class ridiculously more OVERPOWERED!
IF YOU DO MAKE HUGE SHIPS, YOU WILL ENCOUNTER ISSUES SUCH AS CLIPPING & CAMERA PROBLEMS, BUT IT IS TOTALLY PLAYABLE.
Available on PC & Xbox!
Donations: Ive had a few people send donations and also people asking if id accept venmo (which i dont have) but if youd like to send a Donation then you can buy me a coffee here: https://buymeacoffee.com/bot2sfgvaj
