PsiSoldier’s Science Reborn Mod
Starfield is a game centered around space exploration, flying to distant planets, and discovering new lifeforms. Traditionally, leveling up in Starfield involves combat—murdering every lifeform you encounter, wiping out pirate bases, and completing quests. But what if you prefer a more peaceful approach?
Enter the PsiSoldier’s Science Rebirth Mod. This mod introduces an alternative way to level up by emphasizing exploration and discovery. Now, exterminating every bug you encounter while surveying and exploring a planet is no longer necessary. Let’s dive into the details:
Exploration Experience: The mod enhances the Science tree’s exploration skills. The first two ranks provide additional Exploration experience. Some skills offer a flat amount of experience, while others provide randomized rewards. The last two ranks grant percentage bonuses to your exploration experience when you discover new locations.
Randomized Rewards: The mod adds an element of surprise to exploration. When you find a new location, you’ll receive varying amounts of experience. It’s like opening a cosmic treasure chest—you never know what you’ll get!
Peaceful Roleplaying: With this mod, you can roleplay as a peaceful explorer, traversing the galaxy without the pressure to massacre every alien life form. Enjoy the thrill of discovery without the guilt of unnecessary violence.
Recommended Companion Mod: For optimal results, pair the PsiSoldier’s Science Reborn Mod with the PsiSoldier’s Physical Rebirth Mod. The latter introduces additional skills that enhance exploration and increase experience gain. Plus, you’ll benefit from faster run speed, aiding your galactic adventures.
(Update 7/10/24) Slightly reduced the flat discovery exp for most skills and reduced the % bonuses from 10% to 8% I felt that with most skills invested at the previous levels felt like a little too much. At the new levels I am seeing often in the rang of 500 - 650 experience with the majority of the skills invested. You can still get more experience by killing lots of creatures but I feel the new levels are a healthy ammount.
