Adjustable Experience Gameplay Options
Adjustable Experience Gameplay Options (AEGO) gives you full control over your experience gain in Starfield. It allows you to remove bonus XP from gameplay options or add additional XP on top of them. All directly from the in-game settings.

AEGO was designed with simplicity and compatibility in mind. Its goal is to let players decide exactly how much XP they gain, independent of any vanilla or mod-added gameplay options.
Gameplay Options
AEGO adds two adjustable settings to the Gameplay Options menu:
- Experience Gain (10s) – Adjust XP in increments of 10, from -100 to +100.
- Experience Gain (1s) – Adjust XP in increments of 1, from -9 to +9.
These options can be combined to fine-tune your total experience gain to the exact value you want.
Examples
You have +37% XP from your chosen gameplay options, but you’d prefer +50%. - Set Experience Gain (10s) to +10 and Experience Gain (1s) to +3. (37 + 10 + 3 = 50)
You have +37% XP but want to return to +0%. - Set Experience Gain (10s) to -30 and Experience Gain (1s) to -7. (37 - 30 - 7 = 0)
