Arctec Labs - Party Popper Grenades

Let's be real, these grenades are ridiculous.

But if mass-destruction and walking through rooms full of bodies is your dopamine, these are for you.

There is little known about Arctec Labs. Their weaponry recently started gaining headlines when survivors of their horror (of which there are few) started spreading rumours of hideously powerful explosions during attacks. Investigations were unable to find the source of the damage. We will likely find out more as investigations continue.

Arctec Eviction Grenade

A very powerful room clearing and cleanup device in one smart little popper. Toss this in any room and take cover. Everything in the area will be anihillated then collected into a nice pile for easy looting, courtesy of Arctec's Maelstrom technology (patent pending). Why are you not affected? You are! Take cover!

Arctec EMP Grenade

Thermonuclear Explosion level EMP. Every living being will be knocked out and all robotic and automated weapon systems will be nullified. Drop this down any hole and an entire complex will be ripe for exploitation. Why are you not affected? Maybe you shouldn't ask too many questions.

Arctec Retribution Grenade

A very powerful complex clearing and cleanup device in one smart little popper. Walls and floors cannot block the raw energy unleashed in all directions. Toss this in any room and get the heck out of range. Everything in the area will be anihillated then collected into a nice pile for easy looting, courtesy of Arctec's Maelstrom technology (patent pending). Why are you not affected? You are! RUN!!!

Arctec Wraith Grenade

A biomechanical weapon that shouldn't exist anywhere near a civilized society. Every living being will be torn apart from the inside and laid to rest in a pile of goo. Drop this down any hole and an entire complex will be ripe for exploitation. Why are you not affected? Maybe you shouldn't ask too many questions.

OBTAINING GRENADES: There is a loot list injection script that runs upon new start/NG and first install. You will see the notification about 30 seconds-ish in. For now I have made them available at any Trade Authority. Be sure to rest for a day or two to allow propagation. There is also a "starter box" in the Ryujin Lobby. Under the reception desk as you enter the lobby, you'll find a loot crate with a number of them. Will also be looted off some Crimson Fleet and Ecliptic bodies.

LOAD ORDER: Place this with other weapon mods. But it should be neutral. (I am still new at this. Be gentle)

I hope you enjoy the absolute absurdity that is these grenades. I had a lot of fun making them and learned a lot in the process. I also died a lot testing them in game.

FUTURE PLANS:

• Decide on vendor availability. Trade Authority is a temporary situation.
• Consider a unique vendor or even a vending machine
• One more Popper is in the works and will be released soon. The pamphlet claims, "It will leave your foes breathless and turn their world upside down."

UPDATES:

1.1 - Feb 1, 2026 - Upped the range of Wraith effect and increased duration slightly. Updated friend/foe check so civilians and non-hostile entities will be affected. (Yes, the warcrimes mount) Updated the loot list injections to alter quantities available at Trade Authority as well as added the grenades to Crimson Fleet and Ecliptic body loots.

1.11 - Feb 3, 2026 - Reupload due to unintended dependency. Has been removed and should load normally now.
