riot modern decor

the scoop zoning denied, permits pulled, application cancelled. << riot >> lost the bid; but new atlantis lost the most.
the new atlantis city planning commission said the final concept for the new nightclub is “too much,” and “doesn’t reflect the values of the ‘flagship city of the united colonies.’”
“the commercial district doesn’t need a nightclub. neon can stay on volii alpha where it belongs. the next thing you know they’ll be serving aurora too,” one councilmember was overheard remarking.
the director of urban planning specifically noted that the 'color scheme is visible from orbit and a distraction to incoming starship pilots.'
the reality we get it, new atlantis isn’t ready for a scene yet. but our designer was, which means we have a warehouse full of limited-edition decor, now available to the public.
stock is limited: details below.
the opportunity a full suite of custom decor crafted in bold hues, light-catching metallics, and organic textures.
liquidation drop // the crates are open and we're clearing the warehouse of all items.
availability notice // only while supplies last, limited manufacture run. no holds or reservations.
disclaimer // the designer is not responsible for noise complaints, late-night parties, or the spontaneous desire to move out of new atlantis. ⠀ ⠀
designer profile raised in a LIST colony amid the glowing landscape of Eridani II and refined in the lecture halls and fabrication labs of the New Atlantis College of Modern Arts, the designer behind << riot >>'s distinctive style doesn’t design for broad appeal.
from her early days reveling in the convergence of bioluminescent foliage and colonial industrialism, to her degree in Applied Design Theory, she has always believed that the best instructors for color and form are found in nature.
the collection designed for the << riot >> nightclub sought to merge exuberant pigments with stunning, nature-inspired forms. the result is a chaotic fusion reminiscent of wild biodiversity, supported and anchored by architectural lines of high-polish chrome.
"as when light glints on a cascading waterfall or sparkles across an exposed mineral vein, it serves as a reminder that oftentimes aesthetic belies a solid, unyielding foundation."
⠀ ⠀ inventory & acquisition ⠀catalog // 174 pieces located in default build menu tabs, grouped as follows ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Furniture // chairs & benches, couches, stools, tables ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Decorations // rugs & floor decals, wall decor & art, large planters, tabletop items ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Miscellaneous // bar display & dividers, pool table & cue rack, hanging light fixtures, patio umbrellas
⠀index // assigned priority for menu compatibility (most likely at or near the bottom of the columns)
⠀cost // credit-based pricing tiers scaled by item size and utility
⠀access // all items available immediately, no research or skill gates
⠀notice // miscellaneous pieces are not available for ship installation
as-built condition (known quirks) ⠀staging // rotational variance: teal leather couches feature off-center rotation points ⠀staging // ship placement: teal leather couches sink into ship floors if the cursor is too close to the character; for best results, give maximum distance between character and the cursor when placing (stand at other end of hab if possible) ⠀staging // pendant fixtures: to place hanging lights above furniture, they must be placed first; otherwise obstruction errors may occur
⠀lighting // teal light artifact: yellow, pink, and black dividers have developed a persistent bioluminescence. when placed near walls this condenses to a circular spotlight
⠀display // item orientation: bar displays feature slots to display small items. priority has been given for Boom Pop! pouches to face forward—other items may display sideways as a result ⠀display // succulent tris: two wall triangles display small succulents exclusively; highlight with cursor to transfer them into the display
accessibility ⠀color labels // most items have dominant colors listed in UI (exception: chrome is not always labeled, there's a lot of it)
⠀emissive lights // some items emit a glow that may render differently depending on the display settings and placement
compatibility ⠀conflicts // style?—potentially. other mods?—none observed yet.
