PandaWorks AutoLoot
Community Rating
PandaWorks AutoLoot
PandaWorks AutoLoot is a configurable quality-of-life looting framework for Starfield.
It reduces repetitive corpse checking, container opening, inventory cleanup, and manual salvage collection while still letting the player decide what gets looted and where it goes.
Instead of opening every corpse, crate, locker, storage box, asteroid deposit, and supported salvage source, PandaWorks AutoLoot scans nearby references, validates them, applies your enabled settings, and transfers matching loot to the selected destination.
The goal is simple:
Spend less time digging through containers and more time actually playing Starfield.
PandaWorks AutoLoot is the successor to Lazy Panda. Lazy Panda proved the concept worked. PandaWorks AutoLoot rebuilds that concept into a cleaner, modular, and far more configurable framework.
Features Automatically loots supported containers Automatically loots supported corpses Automatically loots supported loose objects and harvestables Loots asteroid deposits, space cargo, and debris from destroyed hostile ships Transfers space salvage directly to ship cargo Allows individual loot categories to be enabled or disabled Allows supported categories to use different destinations Supports Player Inventory, Ship Cargo, Lodge Safe, and PandaWorks Inventory Uses validation checks before processing references Supports selective corpse looting without relying on full Take All behavior Reduces repetitive inventory management and container checking Includes in-game configuration controls Supports optional add-ons for DLC and Creation content Gravitic Stowage Matrix
PandaWorks AutoLoot includes the Gravitic Stowage Matrix, an integrated carried-mass management system powered by the Chronomark Gravitic Edition.
Available profiles include:
25% Mass Reduction 50% Mass Reduction 75% Mass Reduction Weightless Disabled
Selecting a profile automatically adds, equips, and configures the Chronomark Gravitic Edition. Disabling the system removes it when a mission or gameplay sequence requires the player to deposit all carried equipment.
The Chronomark is visible on the player and functions as an actual piece of equipment rather than an invisible background effect.
Player-Controlled Looting
PandaWorks AutoLoot is built around player choice.
You decide:
which loot categories are enabled; which destinations are used; whether the system should be selective or aggressive; how carried mass is managed; which optional content add-ons are installed.
The mod provides the framework. Your settings determine how that framework behaves.
PandaWorks AutoLoot does not exist to remove exploration or eliminate looting from Starfield. It removes the repetitive cleanup that happens after fights, facility clears, ship boarding, scavenging, mining, and general exploration.
Who It Is For
PandaWorks AutoLoot is useful for players who:
loot everything manually and are tired of doing it; want automatic looting without surrendering category control; want loot routed to different storage destinations; want faster corpse and container cleanup; want automatic space salvage collection; want fewer interruptions while exploring; want a cleaner and more capable successor to Lazy Panda; would rather play the game than sort piles of space trash. Installation and Add-ons
The main plugin provides the core PandaWorks AutoLoot framework and supported base-game content.
Optional add-on plugins expand support for DLC and Creation content. Only install add-ons for content you actually own and have enabled.
The Achievement Friendly base version does not require DLC or paid Creations.
Configuration
Configuration is handled in-game through the PandaWorks AutoLoot terminal, utility device, and supported Gameplay Options.
The default setup is designed to work immediately, while still allowing deeper customization for players who want precise control over categories, destinations, utilities, and mass-management profiles.

PandaWorks AutoLoot is built for players who want Starfield to flow better.
Fight, explore, mine, loot, board ships, clear facilities, and move on without stopping every few seconds to manually vacuum containers like a sleep-deprived space janitor.
Loot smarter.
Let the panda handle the trash.

# PandaWorks AutoLoot – Gravitic Stowage Matrix
## Update 1.2.0 brings the following new feature
The **Gravitic Stowage Matrix**, or **GSM**, is a new optional weight-management system built directly into PandaWorks AutoLoot.
The GSM uses a modified **Chronomark Gravitic Edition** to reduce the carried mass of supported inventory categories while those items remain on the player.
Unlike a simple carry-weight increase, the GSM modifies the mass of the affected items themselves. This allows the system to work naturally with the player inventory while keeping the feature fully configurable.
## Available GSM Profiles
The Gravitic Stowage Matrix includes the following profiles:
- **Disabled**
- **25% Mass Reduction**
- **50% Mass Reduction**
- **75% Mass Reduction**
- **Weightless**
The selected profile applies to the following inventory categories:
- Ammunition
- Armor and Apparel
- Books and Dataslates
- Consumables
- Junk and Miscellaneous Items
- Resources
- Weapons
Each category is handled independently through the Chronomark Gravitic Edition’s installed modules.
## How to Enable the GSM
Open Starfield’s **Gameplay Options** menu and locate the PandaWorks AutoLoot settings.
Find the option labeled:
**Gravitic Stowage Matrix**
Select one of the available reduction profiles.
Once a profile is selected, PWAL will:
- Add the Chronomark Gravitic Edition to the player.
- Install the correct GSM modules for the selected profile.
- Equip the Chronomark Gravitic Edition.
- Apply the selected mass reduction to all supported categories.
The effect is applied immediately. There is no need to restart the game or reload the save.
## Changing Profiles
The GSM profile can be changed at any time through Gameplay Options.
Changing from one profile to another removes the previous GSM modules and installs the complete module set for the newly selected profile.
The player does not need to remove or replace the Chronomark Gravitic Edition -
1.1.6== Describe this release ==
Version 1.1.6
This update improves setup, existing-save compatibility, and terminal usability.
Gameplay Options
Added native Gameplay Options for quick configuration of PandaWorks AutoLoot.
You can now:
enable or disable all standard loot categories;
enable or disable all Always Loot categories;
set a default loot destination;
add or remove the handheld terminal;
add or remove the utility device;
enable or disable the AutoLoot system.
The category, Always Loot, and destination options act as bulk commands. Detailed settings can still be adjusted through the PandaWorks terminal.
Existing-Save Updater
Added a proper existing-save update system.
When loading a save created with an older version of PandaWorks AutoLoot, the framework now:
detects the installed version;
runs update maintenance safely;
restores any missing required PWAL perks;
preserves existing user settings;
updates the saved framework version only after maintenance succeeds;
displays a one-time confirmation showing the installed PWAL version.
Users should no longer need to uninstall the mod or start a new save when updating.
Terminal Improvements
Improved terminal descriptions across the Filters and Loot Destinations menus.
Menus now provide clearer information about:
armor categories;
collectibles;
containers and corpses;
space loot categories;
books, dataslates, landmark books, and skill magazines;
miscellaneous items;
resource types and rarities;
weapon categories;
destination controls;
fixed-route items.
Additional warnings and explanations were added where needed, including Junk Items performance, space-loot requirements, and fixed destinations.
Contraband is now documented as being routed to the Lodge Safe to prevent it from being detected by the contraband scanner.
General wording, terminology, and menu consistency were also improved throughout the terminal. -

PandaWorks AutoLoot — Version 1.1.5 Update
Version 1.1.5 is now available.
Fixed:
Fixed Remove Corpses not removing bodies after PWAL finished looting them.
Corpse removal now occurs only after the configured corpse-looting process has completed.
Items excluded through your loot-category settings will be discarded along with the corpse when corpse removal is enabled.
Added:
Added support for Vortex Shards and related items.
These items are now recognized by PWAL and routed through the appropriate loot destinations.
Trackers Alliance Update
Support has been added for items from Bethesda’s Trackers Alliance bounty series, allowing those items to be properly detected and looted by PWAL.
Because these records are now used by the Trackers Alliance PWAL plugin, Bethesda’s Trackers Alliance bounty content is now a requirement for that plugin.
This requirement applies to the Trackers Alliance plugin, not the base PandaWorks AutoLoot plugin.
As always, make sure your required Creations are installed and enabled before updating the related PWAL plugin.
The panda may be a kleptomaniac, but at least it now cleans up the bodies afterward. -
1.1.3PandaWorks AutoLoot v1.1.3 Update
This is a minor update focused mainly on expanded loot coverage and plugin organization.
I have also fixed Remove Corpses so it will no longer remove corpses that still contain loot.
Remove Corpses was originally added back during Lazy Panda to work around a floating head issue. I never removed the feature, and it remains primarily useful for Achievement Friendly users, since AF restrictions do not allow DLC-dependent corpse records and may still result in floating heads.
This update also moves All Free DLC coverage out of the Trackers Alliance plugin and into the appropriate dedicated plugin.
Plugin Coverage
PandaWorks AutoLoot.esm
Covers the base game.
PandaWorks AutoLoot - Trackers Alliance.esm
Covers the free Trackers Alliance DLC. This does not cover the Creation Club Trackers Alliance Missions DLC.
PandaWorks AutoLoot - Shattered Space.esm
Covers the Shattered Space paid DLC.
PandaWorks AutoLoot - Free Lanes.esm
Covers the free Free Lanes DLC.
PandaWorks AutoLoot - Terran Armada.esm
Covers the Terran Armada paid DLC. Free Lanes is required for this plugin.
PandaWorks AutoLoot - Watchtower.esm
Covers the Watchtower Creation Club DLC by KingGath.
Thank you for your support.

**PandaWorks AutoLoot Update**
This update focuses on major stability, performance, and space-looting improvements.
The ground looting framework has been cleaned up and hardened. Container, loose loot, corpse, and harvest routing are now faster and safer, with better validation around unloaded or invalid references. Corpse looting has also been improved so bodies are handled much more like normal loot sources, allowing selective corpse looting without relying on full TakeAll behavior.
Space looting has now been expanded and separated into its own dedicated system. Asteroid deposits and space cargo now use a direct ship-cargo transfer path instead of being pushed through the normal ground-looting framework. This keeps space salvage isolated from regular looting and avoids contaminating the stable ground system.
**New / Improved**
* Asteroid deposit looting now works.
* Space cargo looting now works.
* Space salvage transfers directly to ship cargo.
* Corpse looting behavior improved.
* Ground looting performance improved.
* Safer validation for stale or invalid loot references.
* Reduced excessive Papyrus debug spam from space-looting scripts.
* Fixed empty space-salvage refs being added to processing queues.
**Notes**
Ship debris is not included in this pass yet. Asteroids and space cargo were handled first because they could be made stable without touching the normal ground-looting framework.
As always, please report issues directly so I can fix them in the main framework instead of relying on patches or workarounds.
-
1.1.4== Describe this release ==
**PandaWorks AutoLoot Update**
This update improves core looting stability and adds working space salvage support.
Asteroid deposits and space cargo can now be looted and transferred directly to your ship cargo. This space-looting path is separate from the normal ground-looting system, keeping containers, corpses, loose loot, and harvestables stable and fast.
Also improved:
* Faster ground looting
* Better corpse looting behavior
* Safer handling of invalid/stale refs
* Reduced debug log spam
* Fixed empty space-salvage refs getting stuck in retry loops
Ship debris is not part of this update yet.
-
1.0.3**PandaWorks AutoLoot 1.0.3**
This update focuses on menu cleanup, destination routing, ownership handling, and contraband scan safety.
**Menu / Destination Fixes**
* Improved destination menu behavior for the newer category layout.
* Added destination support for separated Collectibles categories.
* Cleaned up category routing so menu options line up more reliably with their intended settings.
**Collectibles**
Collectibles now have their own destination handling for:
* Action Figures
* Antiques
* Eggs
* Plushies
* Snowglobes
Some progression-style items are still hard-routed so they do not get buried in storage.
**Contraband**
Contraband now hard-routes to the Lodge Safe instead of PandaWorks storage.
During testing, contraband stored in PandaWorks storage could still trigger the vanilla contraband scan, even when it was not in player inventory or ship cargo. The Lodge Safe did not trigger the scan, so contraband now routes there for safer behavior.
Contraband classification was not changed. PWAL still uses the existing keyword-based contraband setup.
**Ownership / Stolen Item Fixes**
* Bulk transfer commands no longer preserve ownership/stolen state when moving items between PandaWorks storage, ship cargo, and the Lodge Safe.
* Container and corpse Take-All behavior now correctly uses the “Stealing Is Hostile” setting when deciding whether ownership should be preserved.
**Not Changed**
* No contraband FormList redesign.
* No new contraband base-form list.
* General filtered looting behavior remains the same.
This update is intended to stabilize the current release. -
1.0.2== Describe this release ==
- Improved corpse looting speed and reliability.
- Reduced terminal/menu lag.
- Fixed resource scanning incorrectly detecting planet/resource marker objects.
- Added PWAL-specific keywords for resources, skill magazines, landmarks, and books.
- Improved loose-loot validation and reduced Papyrus log spam.
- Updated utility device commands for the current PWAL framework.
- General CK/data cleanup and stability improvements. -

As always, please report issues directly so I can fix them in the main framework instead of relying on patches or workarounds.

1.1.4== Describe this release ==
* Faster ground looting
* Better corpse looting behavior
* Safer handling of invalid/stale refs
* Reduced debug log spam
* Fixed empty space-salvage refs getting stuck in retry loops
Ship debris is not part of this update yet.

* Action Figures
* Antiques
* Eggs
* Plushies
* Snowglobes
* No contraband FormList redesign.
* No new contraband base-form list.
* General filtered looting behavior remains the same.
This update is intended to stabilize the current release. -
