The Rusted Wrench

IMPORTANT: You need to have captions on, since there is no voice-over for the dialogues.     

The Rusted Wrench adds a new building to [Gagarin](/starmap/gagarin), near the [Gagarin](/starmap/gagarin) statue. It is a bar that has a story of its own. Rhea Kessler, the bar owner, decided to buy an old building and convert it into a bar, with the money she received from her late husband´s pension, who died in the Battle of Niira. Some of the quests in this mod will revolve around this story, so be ready to go inside a MechBot to help Rhea Kessler get her late husband´s nametag from the battlefield, where his MechBot was taken down.

In the bar, you will find and be able to hire three powerful crew members/companions who will help you out with all the hard missions you need to accomplish during the game, or to bring along on any adventure you may need help with. The bar has custom ambient music that gives it that industrial character. Many quests will take you to areas outside the bar... A farm, a Habitat, a fight in space...

Help Pete and Jazmine Oakland with a problem they have with some pirates who are blocking the space around their home planet, and deliver a letter to her parents. Help her father with some seeds he needs and get rewards for all of this.

The restaurant chef, Hideyuki Sono, has also a mission for you, where you will have to silently follow a creature to get some secretions from it, for a highly sought-after dish. You have to be very sneaky not to scare off the creature and discover where it deposits its secretions.

In the lower level of the bar, you will find three vendors and Rhea Kessler, who is in her office. Speak to her to help her out with recovering her late husband's belongings, and help her heal her old wounds. Also, speak to Tarek Abukamiss, the contraband buyer guy, and he will send you on a quest to get a very valuable item on a derelict ship.

This mod is full of quests and places to explore. Enjoy the wonderful industrial-grit music playing at the bar, and buy a drink from the bartender, Pete Oakland, or go downstairs to the game room and play some ´21´ card game with Karina Smith, the game room bartender, to earn (or maybe lose) some Credits.
