BNW Declared Contraband - Lawful Turn-In
Community Rating
A small balance and functionality patch for Declared Contraband by VerdantAtronach.
This patch changes the lawful turn-in route, so UC and Freestar Collective declared contraband is no longer a highly profitable alternative to smuggling.
UC and FC declared contraband now has a base value of 100 credits instead of 5,000 credits.
The intention is simple: if you want the money, keep the goods illegal and sell them through the Trade Authority.
If you want to role-play as Vanguard, Ranger, security personnel, or simply a law-abiding citizen, declare the contraband and turn it in for a nominal reward.
This preserves a meaningful distinction between lawful evidence surrender and the smuggler economy.
This patch also fixes the Freestar Collective Contraband Terminal in the Creations 5.0 release. The FC terminal is incorrectly assigned to the UC vendor, which prevents FC Declared Contraband from appearing as a valid turn-in item.
This patch corrects the FC terminal vendor assignment.
Changes: • UC Declared Contraband: 5,000c → 100c • FC Declared Contraband: 5,000c → 100c • Civilian Declared Contraband: unchanged • Vanilla contraband values: unchanged • Fixes the FC Contraband Terminal vendor assignment in the Creations 5.0 build • No changes to declaration crafting, faction requirements, contraband scanning, cases, keywords, or other Declared Contraband functionality
Requires Declared Contraband by VerdantAtronach.
