Easier Companion Affinity

Ghastly Knight ·

I found this really helpful if you wanted to build affinity with constellation companions in NG+ or any play through where you might opt out of the main quest line.

Soon after, I disabled the mod in my load order. I see that there has been some updates since I tried it, so maybe I'll give it another shot.

Pretty good quest with decent length and a follower you can romance (still a rarity in mods). The main location is nice to explore, but there's not much reason to return once everything is done. The radiant quests are there, but there wasn't much to them. The player home you get has a nice view. I just wish it was closer to your ship.

This is one of my favorite mods for habs. Love their interior design and it works well with Place Doors Yourself (with a patch mod, I think). It has some really good staircases and lifts, and it comes with gameplay options to disable the placement of some fixed clutter (which I found useful to remove staircase clutter that made it diffcult to move through doors sometimes). Highly recommend this one.

200 Ship Crew Slots

Ghastly Knight ·

Super simple and effective. Build a huge ship, stick this one part on it and recruit up to 200 crew members. Perfect.

Color Filter Removal

After playing the game the first year without mods, I remember being stunned by the impact of this mod. I recently tried a new playthrough with it removed and didn't miss it much. Weird. I'd still recommend it! It's free and it might be very impactful for some...

Darker Nights

Ghastly Knight ·

Simple but effective mod. Just make sure to grab whatever flashlight mod you prefer with this. You'll definitely need it.

Darker Space

Ghastly Knight ·

This is a small enhancement but a meaningful one to me. I like space being darker so the stars stand out more. I think Bethesda had too much ambient light in areas, so this helps with that in space.
