Craft unique elemental gems, experiment with lacerating explosions that shower wide areas with deadly shrapnel, and fine-tune your loadout with an intuitive game options system. Whether you're defending colonies or exploring uncharted planets, Modular Arsenal empowers you to face any challenge with an array of devastating and visually spectacular weaponry.
Major features include
Elemental-themed backgrounds:
- Rogue Elemental is a sniper build using multiple elemental effects and a trait that boosts elemental duration.
- Primordial Huntsman is a ballistics build that uses elemental effects and a trait that boosts elemental damage.
- Environmental Insurgent is a melee build that uses elemental effects and traits that increase elemental damage and duration.
Elemental-themed Traits:
- Positively Charged! trait will increase elemental damage by 25% but take 25% more damage.
- Staying Power! trait will increase elemental durations by 25%, but you will get fewer items from harvest.
Expanded Elemental Arsenal:
- Effects include incendiary, freezing, poisoning, lacerating, shocking, and more
- New Corrosive and Radioactive modifications for all weapons
- Shock, Fire, Frost, and Knockback blades for all melee weapons
- Non-lethal magazines and missiles, stunning, concussive or knockout gas, can knock down your enemies and incapacitate them.
- Mind Control modification options for most weapons
- New Shock shells for shotguns
Enhanced Weapon Variety:
- Missiles for Negotiator and Bridger with multiple effects
- Craftable grenades at the industrial workbench with various elemental properties
- Microgun and AutoRivet weapon modifications
- Lawgiver mods and Mind Control bullets for MagSniper
Modular Mayhem Magazines:
- Unique magazine covers for all modifications
- Magazines can be found hidden in common Gun Stores, Shooting Ranges and the Red Mile office.
New Crafting System:
- Imbued Elemental Gems replace Elemental Ores (customizable via settings)
- New recipes to craft Elemental Gems (required to craft by default, can be turned off via game options)

-Lacerating Explosions now act as shrapnel blasts, releasing lacerating sub-projectiles and smaller explosions over wide areas
-Elemental Ores are now Imbued Elemental Gems, and are craftable and purchasable but can NOT be found in boss chests or on enemies
-Imbued Elemental Gems can be turned off via game settings, causing recipes to instead require comparable 3rd tier manufactured items
-Imbued Elemental Gems can be dropped and picked back up, and no longer float
-Unique projectiles/muzzle flashes/explosions used for all effects
-All damage dealing ordnance type now feature damage over time
-Damage and damage over time are now configurable via game options.
-Completely removed all vanilla overwrites, including leveled lists and the restored "Thread Logic Circuit" -
