Play as a Chiss

MAKE YOUR CHARACTER A CHISS FROM STAR WARS!

This mod was originally released on Nexus as "GET the Chiss Race" (see the YouTube videos). It lets you play as a Chiss from the Star Wars universe, with blue skin and red eyes. For existing characters, all you have to do is visit an Enhance shop and pay 500 credits to change your appearance (see "Using the Mod"). It's completely safe. To return your character to normal, just disable the mod.

DOWNLOADING THE MOD

IMPORTANT: Like other large mods, you should consider downloading it separately from other mods. Some players have reported that the Creations screen loads longer when the mod is downloading with other large mods. If downloading it separately doesn't work, try waiting until fewer players are online and downloading it then.

USING THE MOD

The mod works with new and existing characters. To use it: <1> Create a character, or change your character's appearance. <2> For Skin Tone, choose 8. <3> For Dermaesthetic, choose 1. <4> For Eye Color, choose 9.

WHAT YOU GET

The mod changes the no. 8 face, hands, and body skin tone for the player. It also changes the no. 9 red eye. It doesn't change other skin tones and eye colors, such as the Martian eye color.

EFFECTS

The mod changes your character's skin color. With few exceptions, it doesn't change the skin colors of NPCs. No named companions have skin color changed, but there is one randomly generated crew member who doesn't have a name who has the number 8 skin tone and rarely appears in the game.

TESTED AND APPROVED

The author has tested the latest version of the mod with new and existing characters on the Xbox Series S and PC to ensure it downloads, installs, and works as expected. COMPATIBILITY

Other mods that change the no. 8 skin tone won't be compatible. Make sure this mod is lower in the Load Order.

DISABLING THE MOD

It's safe to disable the mod. Your character's face, hands, body, and eyes will return to the original color.
