Mod Details

Changes the zoom on the Planetary Map to allow for closer inspection of planet and better choice of a Landing Zone.

New range for how many POIs can spawn on your map for increased Randomization. (1-10)

Added limits to Dungeons to 1 per Planet! (Free Lanes update while doing this for most, did not get them alI.)

New limits to several types of POI that can spawn on your map.

Less possible Ship Landings on your map.

Increased the maximum number of Civilized Outposts that could possibly spawn on Planets and Moons. Settled Planets get an extra bonus amount.

Human POI will no longer spawn near Temples or the Gravitational Anomaly Trait. They will be outside of view range. (LOD)

Gravitational Anomaly Trait will now only spawn close to Temples or "Starborn Anomalies".

  • You may need to create a Temple Landing Zone by interacting with the "Artifact" Questline. (While possible, it is EXTREMELY hard to find without engaging in the questline.)

New range of the "Human Habitability Chance"

This affects whether or not certain Human POI will be placed on your map or planet and how much random Manmade Clutter and Buildings will be placed around Human POIs and on your map.

Settled Space- Planets and Star Systems containing, adjacent, or super close to the major cities of each faction. (75%-95% chance) Civilized Space- Planets and Star Systems medium close to the major cities of each faction. (10-50% chance)
Uncivilized Space- The Frontier, Deep Space, or any Planet or Star System a large distance away from the major cities of each faction. (0-1.5% chance).

More or Less POI can spawn on Planets and Moons based on the "Human Habitability Chance".

Increased chance of human inhabited POIs based on the "Human Habitability Chance".

Compatibility

Please look at the images for a better understanding of exactly what this does.

Not required but recommended on a new game/NG+.

If you add to a save game Galaxy Map Changes will not be immediate and will only happen in unexplored space. Over time as planets get "rescanned" more POI may or may not appear.

Map changes will happen only on new landing sites.

Other POI Generation mods (Such as Desolation) are compatible. It just depends on Load order which mods "conflicting" changes will be used.

Free Lanes Update:

  • This mod does NOT affect the cooldown. The cooldown still works as intended!
  • The other changes made in "Free Lanes" (limits and adjustments etc.) are similar to the same as the changes that were already made in this mod.
  • Most of the same values before the patch are used but not all as more POI have been added.

The goal of this mod has always been better randomization of the POI as well, so in that matter this mod still does exactly what it is supposed to do and "Free Lanes" does not affect this at all.
