Welcome Dusties!

My new spacesuit pack is here! Command your ships in style and look the part of a fleet admiral.

Quick overview:

This mod includes 3 brand-new Starborn Spacesuits, Stylized and designed for an alternate perspective. These armors aren't just for looks; they come packed with an extensive internal upgrade system, along with a combat calibration system. Alongside the internal upgrade systems are some attachments like helmets, capes, and holsters, and more, some of which come with extra buffs and upgrades.

On top of the new armors, I've even brought along some of my older classics! Now fully remodeled and integrated with the new system, allowing players to swap parts for a new customization experience. This brings the outfit count to 7, with hours of combination possibilities.

This entire mod comes neatly packed into one workbench you can build at your crafting bench category for any outpost, home, or ship. The Bench has been scaled to the size of a normal workbench. I've included a few weapons to fit the themes of the main spacesuits.

There is also a cargo pack that adds to the player's lifting capacity when worn. This pack can be upgraded.

There is an information terminal on the crafting bench, "The Celestial Forge," Which can be found in your build menu, located in the crafting benches section.

At the very bottom of the armor workbench, "That's the main outfit bench." You will find the strange potion.

Super important info: "Note" Off-hand weapons are armor-based as of now and will not function as a weapon; however, they do offer buffs when equipped. The off-hand Razorback is just for display only; this may change in the future, and these may become functional down the road.

Amazingly, this mod is considered a small master file, which means it's not as invasive, and it's all packed nicely under 300K KB. So it's small in profile and impact.

Long overview:

THE CELESTIAL FORGE <- My new crafting station!

Welcome to the Celestial Forge.

This advanced fabrication unit allows you to craft new and ornate spacesuits designed by those who've walked the bridge between many worlds. The system is divided into different units, which act as benches for each craftable item category, and upgrade benches on either side to upgrade your newly crafted wares.

The Armor Bench will, of course, come with the ability to craft each new spacesuit; however, it will also include the main attachments meant to complete the primary outfits listed. It will also include a "Strange Potion" that will transport the user to a fighting arena.

Attachment and Apparel Benches: These benches will have various side attachments that can be connected or mixed and matched with the spacesuit for a more tailored appearance. Note: Some of these attachments are meant for specific outfits and may clip if equipped with the unintended outfit, and some parts may also work with unintended outfits. Some attachments do come with special buffs for the armor itself. For example, All capes can be upgraded to have stronger material for more defense. Note: The Apparel Bench allows you to craft Apparel items, and are listed respectively in your inventory menu.

Weapon Bench: Craft a few themed weapons that go alongside the spacesuits. This includes off-hand weapons. Note: Off-hand weapons are not considered dual-wield weapons; however, each off-hand weapon will boost a user's melee damage, and an off-hand shield will substantially increase defense.

The Grand Spacesuits: These new suits are as complex internally as they are externally. Each suit comes with a full suite of upgrades listed below:

The Combat Module System: This system is straightforward: it enables the user to apply combat modules directly to the suits themselves, allowing the modules to be applied to every weapon, provided the user is wearing the suit with the upgrade. For example, the radiating heat module will apply a chance for incendiary damage to enemy targets.

The Combat Calibration System: This system is a little more robust The Calibration modules are designed to align the suit to the player's preferred combat role. Each module will add a boost in the usage of its specific targeted subject, along with a minor XP boost for using the specified role during combat while the module is installed. For example, the hand-to-hand calibration will match unarmed combat damage to that of a melee weapon.

Suit Support System: These are additional systems to support the player passively. These include vitality for a permanent health boost, Oxygen Regulators for permanent oxygen regulation, movement speed boosts, and more. Support systems only apply when the systems are installed within the suit, and the suit is actively worn with them installed. There are two slots for the Support System to be installed.

External Attachments: Most of the new spacesuits feature external attachments! These are additional physical features you can install to add to the suits overall look, however, some of these also include some additional effects. For example, extra magazine pouches will increase weapon ammo capacity.

General Upgrades: Within each suit, you can change boostpack functions, upgrade the 4 legendary armor slots, adjust suit quality and change outfit skins.

The injection option will replace the vanilla starborn enemies with duplicates using outfits from this mod.

""" Important Information! """

PLEASE NOTE: The off-hand weapons are mostly for display and are not functional at this time; this may be adjusted and changed in the future.

Because the attachment system provided, this mod it is unable to support the variable body sliders due to extreme clipping. It was either that or the entire attachment system would have to go.

Attachments, Capes, holsters, and anything outside of a full armor set will be located in the Helmet category. This is due to equipping issues, causing the player's body to go invisible if placed in the armor category. Putting them here will prevent that and require the player to equip a suit first. Placing them in the boostpack category will cause the attachments to appear when boosting without a spacesuit.

Suit boostpacks: Every suit comes with a built-in boost pack. The player can change the level of boost to their preference via the armor bench. Please Note: If you have an internal boost pack for the suit it will affect external boost packs negatively, to prevent this, and if you would like to wear an external boostpack simply set the internal boostpack to none and you will have no issue and can wear any external pack.

Armor VFX: Note: Some outfits have visual effects; these can get a little weird in the UI menu, but will work perfectly fine in 3rd person and 1st person views outside of the UI menu. Equipped VFX can also sometimes get stuck; this will eventually fix itself. In addition, light attachment effects do have a habit of turning on and off inconsistently.

Some attachments may cause a jittering effect to the capes when equipped; this is due to cloth physics. The jittering should stop when the offending attachments are unequipped. In addition, some capes themselves may get stuck or turn inside out, which is also due to cloth physics. It will either adjust itself eventually or fix immediately when unequipped and re-equipped.

When crafting legendary Items, you may notice a few-second delay. I believe this is because the game is giving the player time to read the description of the item.

The strange potion at the bottom of the workbench will teleport you to a boss fight arena. Note: The door that returns the player to the normal map will take the player back to the lodge. This will place the player in the lodge and not where they were originally.

A last note: Some of the spacesuits in-game might be using the same body part data used by the attachments in this mod. This will result in some parts going invisible, which is perfectly normal. To solve this, simply unequip the offending attachment and use a spacesuit that is compatible with that offending attachment.

Thank you all for enjoying my work! Please like it if you enjoy it; this really helps me in deciding where to spend my time in content creation. Feedback is always appreciated.
