Immersive Landing Ramps
By SkinnyPig2

Immersive Landing Ramps implements a new variant of every vanilla landing bay module, in which the landing ramp operates only through direct control. These landing bays remain closed when you land your ship, allowing for immersive step-out moments each time you visit somewhere new.
All vanilla landing bay modules have been split into two variants: A and B. Both variants are identical, except for how their landing ramps are configured. A variant landing bay modules retain their vanilla landing ramp auto-deploy functionality. All ships in the Settled Systems are constructed with A variant landing bay modules. B variant landing bay modules come equipped with landing ramps configured for manual control. Manually controlled landing ramps stay closed when you land your ship. They can be controlled via a console in the landing bay, a remote control item, or by talking to Vasco. B variant landing bays can be installed at any ship builder carrying the respective A variant module.
To operate a landing ramp configured for manual control from inside the landing bay, activate the Ramp Control Console. The Ramp Control Console is usually found on the left side of the bay when exiting your starship, oriented towards the ramp.
To operate a landing ramp configured for manual control from outside the landing bay, ask Vasco to operate your ramp for you or equip your Ship Ramp Remote.
Vasco will be able to open and close your starship's landing ramp once he's been hired to your crew. The dialogue prompt to ask him to operate your ramp will appear when you're within 40 meters of your ship.
Your Ship Ramp Remote will be deposited into your starship's cargo hold after you have equipped any B variant landing bay. It is classified as a quest item, meaning you cannot remove it from your inventory once you retrieve it from the cargo hold.
Immersive Landing Ramps minimally overwrites the Generic Base Forms and Constructible Objects of all vanilla landing bay modules. Please load this creation below, or at a higher priority than, any other creations which modify these records.
This creation is natively compatible with Landing Bay Cargo Access.
Not fully compatible with Landing Animation Reloaded. Both creations can function simultaneously, but ship landings governed by LAR will revert B variant landing bays' behavior to their vanilla auto-deploy function.
