Simple Immersive Music Players
By SkinnyPig2
Community Rating
Adds a small variety of lore-friendly and easy to use in-game music players to the decoration menu.
Each music player is a different take on what I think would be some commonly used media devices in-game: a variation of the "Eggmund" desk assistant, a digital media tablet, an antique Earth CD player, and a large wooden stereo. The music players have been added to the miscellaneous outpost decoration category, where they're organized as different variations of the same list entry, just underneath the bounty clearance board. Each music player has a unique crafting recipe based on its size and material makeup.
All music players share the same control scheme: primary activation for power on and off, and secondary activation to cycle through playlists. Each music player will remember its power state and playlist setting, and retain this information on an instanced basis. That means if you've placed multiple music players, each will each remember its own power state and playlist separately from the others. Playlists can be cycled through at any time, including while the music player is powered on - your music will simply skip to the next playlist as if you're tuning a radio. If you destroy your music player while music is currently playing, the music will simply stop.
Each music player can cycle through the following playlists already present in-game: Classical Baroque, Classical NeoRomantic, Country Blues, Darksynth, Electronica, Jazz, Pop, Techno Clean, Techno Dirty, Astral Lounge, Last Nova, Euphorika, Madame Sauvage's Place, Jake's Bar, and some variations of generic lobby music.
The constructible object sort order value this mod uses is 1.995 in the miscellaneous category.
