Doc's Firing Range

There’s a small firing range on the surface of Mars near Cydonia—most players never even notice it. It sits off to the left of the settlement, past the Spaceship Technician building and down near the solar panels (just beyond the big half‑domes). I added a Vanguard flag to the top of the structure, but it’s still easy to miss from the landing pad.

The firing range itself has been lightly reworked. I added a long storage container and converted it into a compact Vanguard Armory Range Facility, built entirely from vanilla assets.

Inside and around the armory you’ll find: • All five Vanguard magazines • A handful of modified weapons: • Doc’s Sedative (OP EM Orion) • Doc’s House Call (OP Kodama) • Doc’s Grendel (OP Grendel) • A couple of Vanguard NPCs for anyone wanting to grab Vanguard armor or outfits (NPC work is still a learning process for me) • Several vanilla weapons placed around the armory • An ammo crate containing a bit of every vanilla ammo type

There’s also a vanilla Kodama stuck in the dirt in one of the firing stalls. It’s not visible in the Creation Kit, so I can’t remove it. Don’t confuse that one with the legendary Kodama sitting on the bench a few stalls over.

This mod gives the Mars firing range a purpose, a theme, and a reason to visit—especially for players running Vanguard‑aligned characters or anyone who wants a quick early‑game gear boost.

** WARNING ** these are normal POI mannequins and weapon stands...do NOT treat them as safe. The loose weapons laying around may be used for the save/take/reload trick if you're looking for that (turning Standard weapons into Advanced versions)
