ALIEN DNA

You volunteered for a controversial experiment that combines human and xenomorphic DNA. You are more physically durable, but must consume Alien material to avoid genetic recombination.

EMPATH

You are keenly aware of other's feelings. Your social abilities grow when you companions are pleased with you, and diminish when they are disappointed.

EXTROVERT

The more Crew and Passengers aboard your vessel, the greater your damage resistance in ship or ground combat.

ENLIGHTENED

You are an adherent of the Enlightened. Every level, you may receive some items as charity from any House of the Enlightened.

SANCTUM UNIVERSUM

You share the beliefs of the Sanctum Universum. You keep a copy of their religious texts with you, and may discuss your faith with others from time to time.

SERPENT'S GAZE

You are a worshipper of the Great Serpent, suffering mental distress when surrounded by heretics. Performing Rituals in the name of the Great Serpent is your only solace.

SPACED

Since birth, your body has adapted to the space lanes. You are at one with your ship, but less effective in old-fashioned kinetic combat.

TERRA FIRMA

You are the picture of health - but only with both feet on the ground. Health and Oxygen are increased while planetside, but you never got your space legs.

NOTES

Alien DNA

Recombination accumulates over time - when full, you will begin to suffer random autoimmune ailments. Consuming Alien cuisine (like Alien Kebabs or Xenowurst) will slightly reduce your Recombination. Consuming Alien Genetic Material will reset your Recombination and stop it from accumulating for a few days.

Enlightened

Visit Houses of the Enlightened in Akila City or The Well and find the Gift of Charity - a small white box. Some Credits are available here each level.

Serpent's Gaze

Distress accumulates over time in populated areas. Each stage of Distress leads to various debuffs to XP gained, Persuasion, etc. There are a number of ways you can ameliorate Distress. • Embrace - Perform a grav jump. • Solace - Spend time in space. • Communion - Travel with another follower of the Serpent. • Penance - Destroy spaceships. • Fealty - Pray at a shrine.
