Asteroid Harvester

ASTEROID HARVESTER: As any veteran space captain will attest, blasting apart fields of asteroids to harvest valuable resources can be both fun and profitable. However, having to bring your ship in close to the debris in order to manually collect each of these shiny nuggets takes a lot of the fun out of that equation. Likewise, finishing a dog fight in an asteroid belt only to see endless contacts on your scanner, with swarms of shattered space rocks obscuring the ship wreckage you want to loot can also prove frustrating.
Enter our new line of Asteroid Harvester resource beaming modules! Installing one of these beauties on your ship enables an advanced heuristic scanning computer to tie directly into Ship Boost and Grav Drive functionality. Comprehensive scan algorithms identify naturally occurring resource components, ignoring other field contacts like ships, space junk, etc. The system builds a map of these deposits and upon entering Boost mode, the Grav Drive spins up a drag frame that effectively teleports all detected deposits directly into your cargo hold.
Forget about those annoyances of the past and let our Asteroid Harvesters do the heavy lifting for you!
> Adds a full lineup of modules unlocked at level 1, 10, 30, 50, and 70. Each tier has three appearance variants.
> All modules will give your ship the Asteroid Harvester effect, collecting all destroyed asteroid/comet resources automatically on Ship Boost. NOTE: You don't have to let your boost fuel completely drain after activating boost. If you have thrusters installed, you can hit the thruster (brake) button to instantly drop boost and save fuel. On PC you can hit the back movement key as well.
> Additionally, each tier of modules will give your ship a slight bonus to Boost Fuel (+1), Boost Speed (+0.5), and Boost Recharge Rate (+0.05). To understand how much this adds, the Frontier starter ship has a total default Boost Fuel of 3, Boost Speed of 2, and Boost Recharge Rate of 0.3.
> Installing multiple of the same tier modules does not stack these bonuses. HOWEVER, installing modules from different tiers DOES stack.
> So, installing any number of just the tier 1 modules gives only one instance of the bonus (Boost Fuel +1, Boost Speed +0.5, Boost Recharge Rate +0.05). However, installing any number of tier 1 modules AND any number of tier 2 modules will give TWO instances of the bonus (one for each tier = Boost Fuel +2, Boost Speed +1, Boost Recharge Rate +0.1). Installing at least one of all 5 tiers will give five instances of the bonus (Boost Fuel +5, Boost Speed +2.5, Boost Recharge Rate +0.25). This would nearly double the Boost Fuel and Boost Recharge Rate values of the default Frontier ship, and slightly more than double its default Boost Speed.
> The Asteroid Harvester can be found on the Equipment tab of the Ship Builder.
