SAFE ANNIHILATION
The default behavior of these special Annihilator Rounds would cause an area effect (AOE) hazard when a target died from your particle weapon that applied a disease-like effect to anything nearby, including friendly or neutral targets. This effect would also trigger on critical hit kills with particle weapons even without Annihilator Rounds installed.
This mod changes that behavior to a single target effect, applying the same damage over time effect to the target hit by the shot only. Additionally, instead of triggering on target death from your particle weapon, this damage over time effect will instead trigger on the target when you crit. This makes it actually useful for damaging the current target.
You will still see particle effects when the DOT (damage over time) effect is active, however it will be different from the huge stationary explosion of the original and instead, appear as a shower of smaller particles following the target.
The text for Annihilator Rounds has also been changed to reflect these modifications:
"Banned by almost every government, critical hits by these rounds slowly and painfully disintegrate targets from within."

Strip any equipped armor or clothes from your fallen foes! Or simply loot-all with 1 button. Steal items from knocked-out targets instead of pick-pocketing and waking them up!
