The Weather Caster

As humanity expanded across the Settled Systems, explorers and settlers quickly discovered that alien worlds rarely behaved as expected. Sudden storms, dense fog, electrical disturbances, and rapidly changing atmospheric conditions could turn a routine survey into a dangerous situation within minutes.

To assist personnel operating in remote regions, a portable atmospheric control device was developed for field use. Compact enough to be carried anywhere, the terminal can interface with local environmental systems and temporarily influence weather conditions within the surrounding area.

While originally intended for scientific expeditions and planetary surveys, the technology eventually found its way into the hands of explorers, outpost builders, and adventurers who preferred a little more control over the environments they traveled through.

The device can be used to clear the skies, create rain, generate fog, summon storms, trigger snowfall, or simply restore the planet's natural weather patterns.

Although its creators insist that the system should be used responsibly, few can resist the temptation of commanding the weather with the touch of a button.

Instructions: Drop the Weather Caster from your inventory to deploy it. Once activated, select the desired weather condition from the terminal interface. The device will automatically return to your inventory after use.
