Entourage is a comprehensive overhaul of how followers, crew, and companions work, streamlining the friction, fixing the annoyances, and opening up possibilities the base game hinted at but never delivered.
Followers & Hotkeys
Tired of navigating dialogue trees just to tell someone to wait? Hotkeys now let you instantly command followers to follow or wait, open their inventory, or trigger an action, no conversation required.
You can also bring multiple followers along at once. Extra followers beyond your primary companion won't accumulate affinity or chip in with commentary, but they'll have your back wherever you go.
Crew & Recruitment
**All crew members can now become followers. ** Take your ship's crew into the field with you.
A toggleable gameplay option (off by default) lets you recruit any NPC as a crew member, and therefore as a follower. Want all of Constellation at your side as you explore the settled systems? Now you can.
Use this carefully. Only recruit NPCs who aren't involved in active quests, or you may break quest scripts.
Companion Fixes & Quality of Life
Jessamine now starts the game on Gagarin and only moves to the Key when you do, no need to run Crimson Fleet quests just to pick her up.
Rosie is now a functioning doctor. Ask her for medical attention, and she'll restore you to full health.
Constellation crew members will follow you back to the Lodge when you visit, then return to the ship on their own, no more hunting them down.
If you're attacked just outside the ship, all crew members will rush out to defend it.
Constellation members won't interrupt you asking if it's a good time to talk unless you're aboard the ship or at the Lodge.
Tunable Settings
Via the gameplay settings menu, you can adjust the following:
Affinity and time requirements: Cut requirements for companion quests (default: 50% of vanilla)
Crew hiring costs: Make companions cheaper or pricier to suit your playthrough
Dialogue & Voicing
All new interactions use vanilla voice lines wherever possible. Where no suitable line exists, characters will simply nod, no jarring text-to-speech or silent subtitles floating in the void.
