Chromatic Cosmos

This mod simply alters the color of most of the basic orange gas giants and ice giants. I noticed every moon and planet you could land on had a unique appearance, but it wasn't until I started working on this mod that I even realized there was a difference at all between the gas giants, as its hardly noticeable.

It may be more "realistic" to have them all be essentially orange or blue, I don't know, I'm no science guy, but its not very fun. Especially when those planets are essentially eye candy, offering nothing else in the way of gameplay.

Gas giants remain on the warm side of the color spectrum now, while ice giants take up the cooler colors. Each planet should now have a different appearance, with rings also modified to match.

As an added bonus to users of my Galactic Globes mod, these colors will transfer over to the collectable globes added by the mod, allowing you to create some truly unique homes and outposts.

This mod doesn't contain any records, only new materials assets for the planets, as such should be compatible with anything.
