Combines the effects of Better Bad Skills, Meaningful Backgrounds Plus, Trait Scaling, and Adoring Fan Crew into one, achievement-friendly release.
Better Bad Skills - Improves several skills. · Astrodynamics is improved and the max ship jump range is increased. · Research Methods has smoothed scaling. · Gymnastics has smoother fall damage and jump height bonuses, sneak speed, and sliding reduces damage taken. · Pain Tolerance rank 4 works from 50% health. · Isolation applies regardless of equipment, improves Energy and EM resistances too, and rank 4 lets you keep a quarter of the bonus with a companion. · Fitness improves oxygen more and boosts movement speed. · Wellness improves health more and adds damage resistance. · Chemistry rank 4 fixed and makes chems last longer. · Incapacitation boosted to match other combat skills. · Engine Systems improved. · Piloting rank 3 and 4 boost maneuverability further. · Rapid Reloading no longer split by weapon type. · Negotiation also reduces bounties generated. · Surveying reduces damage taken while scanning. · Targeting now works when aiming as well. · Marksman critical chance smoothed and rank 4 works the same with scopes. · Leadership grants companions damage resistance. · Environmental Conditioning is better at protecting from hostile environments. · Ship Command provides bonuses per active crew member. · Diplomacy, Intimidation, Instigation, and Manipulation grow with rank.
Meaningful Backgrounds Plus - Makes backgrounds matter · All backgrounds have two basic and one advanced skill, plus a passive effect. · See picture for full details.
Trait Scaling - Rebalances flat-value traits · Terra Firma, Spaced, and Serpent's Embrace affect damage taken and oxygen used. · Alien DNA improves food and weakens medicine. · New Synthetic Heart improves medicine and weakens food. · Allows picking 8 traits
Adoring Fan Crew - Makes Adoring Fan useful as crew · Swaps Adoring Fan's skills
You do not need this if you already use these four mods and are fine without achievements. However, as an added small thank-you for supporting my work, Vasco and Muria have also gotten an upgrade! Vasco's EM Weapon Systems skill is now rank 3, and his Robotics is now rank 4, giving him 50% more damage against other robots and making his crew slot free like Sarah's Leadership skill does for her. Muria's Pain Tolerance is now rank 3 (the crew version of Pain Tolerance reduces all damage taken, by the way, not just ballistic) and she gains a unique crew version of Automated Weapon Systems rank 4, which will make all ship weapons do 10% more damage, reduce all targeting mode costs by 15%, and make you take 20% less damage while in targeting mode. Her default weapon has been swapped from a Tombstone to a Novalight to make use of her particle beams skill. I've also fixed the issue where not all effects of Leadership would work on her. Finally, Muria should no longer care about your crimes. All of these changes to Vasco and Muria are applied by script, so they shouldn't conflict with other mods that might edit either companion.
Ideally, you will be creating a new save for this. It can be used on existing saves, but not on any that already included any of the combined mods. That will cause issues and that save would have achievements disabled already anyway.
