EIT Clothiers - Tailored Future

As a Frenchman (and because I enjoy a good cliché), I felt it was my duty to come to the rescue of New Atlantis' clothing store, another unfortunate victim of the city's infamous "claustrophobic micro-shop" syndrome.

This mod has the humble ambition of giving this frequently visited location a more futuristic identity, a proper showroom, actual customers, a more logical layout and, quite simply, more space for the store to breathe.

Welcome to EIT CLOTHIERS - TAILORED FUTURE.

AUTHOR’S NOTE :

  • Since the vanilla location gives us very little to work with, I took some creative liberties and tried to imagine what shopping for clothes might actually look like in the UC in 2330. Rather than lining up dozens of mannequins and clothing racks like a 21st-century department store, EIT now relies on a Body Scan system capable of recording customer measurements, combined with interactive Mix & Match terminals throughout the showroom where customers can create and order made-to-measure outfits. It is obviously a creative interpretation. You may like it or not, but I felt it made much more sense for Starfield's setting.
  • A dedicated Neon Collection is also featured in the showroom, since the vanilla EIT vendor already sells several outfits originating from Neon. The original main counter has not been moved. As a result, mods such as those from zone79 that add a loot container around the vanilla counter should remain compatible.
  • The Neon podium display uses an actual Neon asset and therefore comes with its own ambient soundtrack. The music happens to fit the store surprisingly well, so I decided to leave it there.
