Better Buildable Walls and Doors Vol.1

The popular Buildable Walls and Doors mod has outgrown it's original form to become the more polished version you see here.

For those new to this mod series, these mods add buildable internal walls and doors to the build menu that can be constructed in any of your outpost, ships, and player homes, allowing you break up the habs into rooms, to create your own unique floor plans and spaces, so lets see what's new

Custom Collision

This new version has custom collision on all the added walls, doors, and bonus floors, so you can now clip these items into the sides of the habs, each other, and under any pipes and greebles for seamless wall to wall, and floor to ceiling placement, while they still maintain enough collision in the center to block the way of any companions you might have roaming about your ships and outposts. It also means outpost walls will now fit on your on your ships for added versatility

Wider selection in their own build menu category

This addition has all the walls featured in the original mod, plus many exciting new options. It adds 16 different sets of walls and doors, 2 sets of floors, and a new "filler light" feature to help combat any dark spaces and shadows

For Ships:

• Matching wall sets for all vanilla ship manufacturers
• New 'lux' wall category with shiny wood veneers and frosted glass
• Accent walls with faction Emblems
• Brig pieces with working security door terminals * Lux Floor Covers

For Outposts:

• Matching walls for each style of vanilla hab
• Storage cage set
• Penthouse walls
• Wood panel walls *Multiple Industrial and science sets
• New luxury architecture set, with glass and chrome finished, and embossed royal blues
• Stylish room dividers
• Wall to wall floor coverings
• Round Hab Floor decor

Ambient Filler Lights

• Shadow casting spotlights in 4 different brightnesses

Filler lights are invisible ambient light sources attached to small moveable mats that help augment the vanilla hab lighting and offer some control over where the shadows fall, they come in 4 brightnesses 1k, 4k, 5k, and 8k

All items cost 1 credit to build

Important info and conflicts

• Mod may conflict with mods using the Community Category dependency mod
• Is compatible with the original Buildable Walls and Doors for those not ready to say goodbye to builds made using the original mod
• Be sure to delete any walls built with this mod before disabling Better Buildable Walls and Doors, if the mod is removed without deleting all assets built with it, attempting to interact with those objects will cause the game to crash *if switching to this mod from the original Buildable Walls and Doors, you must still delete all walls built by that mod before disabling, it even if you are running this mod. The form IDs for similar looking items in this mod are different from the original, and deleting the old mod without first deleting all items built with it will cause crashing
