Meet Shinya Voss

Shinya Voss is a senior member of the Crimson Fleet and serves as the organization's financial mastermind. Intelligent, calm, and highly analytical, Shinya oversees the Fleet's finances, money laundering operations, and the complex network of credits that keeps the pirate faction functioning.

Unlike many of the Fleet's more openly violent members, he prefers careful planning, negotiation, and strategy over brute force, making him one of the most level-headed individuals aboard the Key. His sharp business sense and understanding of economics have earned him the respect of fellow pirates, even if they do not always agree with his cautious approach.

Before joining the Crimson Fleet, Shinya was involved in sophisticated financial crime and developed a reputation for manipulating corporate accounts and moving vast sums of money beyond the reach of authorities. At some point, he became fitted with an experimental explosive implant in his chest, a device connected to his heart that can detonate if tampered with or if its security measures are triggered.

Despite living under the constant threat posed by the implant, Shinya remains remarkably composed and pragmatic, rarely allowing emotion to cloud his judgment. Throughout the Crimson Fleet storyline, he often serves as a voice of reason during internal disputes, balancing the more aggressive personalities within the organization. Meet Chris Naoki Lee

Chris Naoki Lee is an American actor and voice actor who was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. A graduate of the State University of New York at Purchase, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre, Lee has built a career spanning television, film, theatre, motion capture, and voice acting.

Lee has appeared in numerous television series, including NCIS: Los Angeles, S.W.A.T., Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, The Morning Show, General Hospital, and Shameless. In the gaming industry, Lee is recognized for bringing intelligence and subtlety to his characters rather than relying on exaggerated performances.

In Bethesda's Starfield, he voices Shinya Voss, the Crimson Fleet's calm, calculating financial expert, a performance that helps distinguish Shinya from the faction's louder and more volatile personalities.
