Character Spotlight #72-Lyria

Meet Lyria

Lyria grew up in a remote colony on Mars, where she spent much of her life before deciding to venture out into the Settled Systems. Her first journey away from home did not go as planned, and she eventually became stranded in New Atlantis. With little experience traveling beyond Mars, Lyria began looking for a new crew that could give her the opportunity to continue exploring. Although inexperienced and lacking the knowledge of a seasoned Spacefarer, she is energetic, optimistic and eager to see more of the universe. Lyria also has family connections that become the focus of her personal quest after she has traveled with the Spcefarer for some time.

Personality-wise, Lyria is generally upbeat, energetic and considerably less judgmental than many of the more established companions in the Settled Systems. She tends to approach strange situations with curiosity rather than suspicion and does not always share the stricter moral standards of companions such as those from Constellation. Her willingness to accept people as they are, combined with her occasionally unconventional outlook, makes her an easygoing traveling companion.

Beneath the humor and enthusiasm, however, Lyria is ultimately someone trying to find her place in a universe much larger and more complicated than the Mars colony she once called home.
