Meet Diana Brackenridge

Diana Brackenridge is the captain of the ECS Constant, a centuries-old generation ship encountered above Porrima II during Starfield’s First Contact quest. She is a direct descendant of Rupert Brackenridge, the wealthy visionary who conceived the Constant and served as its first captain before the vessel departed Earth, long before grav-drive technology made interstellar travel routine.

Diana was born aboard the Constant, as were generations of her ancestors, and was raised within its isolated society to continue the original mission of settling Porrima II. When the ship finally reaches its destination after roughly two centuries of travel, Diana and her people discover that humanity has already spread throughout the Settled Systems and that their intended world is now occupied by the luxury resort Paradiso.

As captain, Diana serves as the determined representative of the colonists, asking the Spacefarer to negotiate on their behalf while trying to preserve both their independence and the purpose generations of her family devoted their lives to fulfilling.

Meet Amy Maghera

Amy Maghera is a British actress and voice performer born in Milton Keynes, England, who has worked in British television, international film, theatre, and video games. She has also been credited professionally as Amrit Maghera, particularly in her earlier work. Her screen career includes roles such as Neeta Kaur in the long-running British soap Hollyoaks, Joanna “Jo” Mendes in Angry Indian Goddesses (2015), and Jessica in the Netflix film Skater Girl (2021).

In gaming, Maghera voiced Diana Brackenridge, captain of the ECS Constant, in Bethesda Game Studios’ Starfield (2023). She appeared in Hitman 2 (2018), providing voice work for Hindi-speaking civilian characters and being associated with characters such as Mira Kham. She later contributed additional voice work to Hitman 3 (2021), now part of Hitman: World of Assassination, including civilian dialogue and the character Maria Sharma. Her work therefore spans both live-action performance and character voice acting, with Starfield giving her one of her most recognizable named video-game roles.
