TerraBrew+ (also written as TerraBrew Plus) enhances the vanilla TerraBrew kiosks with new interactivity, adds lore-appropriate food items, and fixes some continuity issues.

Screens? Screens!

TerraBrew kiosks now display a Choose Item screen when activated.

New interactivity

When you approach and activate a TerraBrew kiosk, you will now see a choose item screen. You can choose items (TerraBrew coffee) from the TerraBrew kiosk using the game’s existing container quick menu UI. You can select the item(s) from the quick menu or the Transfer window.

Purchased items are placed on the counter, allowing you quick access to consume or take the item.

New food

TerraBrew+ expands the TerraBrew vendor leveled list with new food items that match the brand’s in-game signage and lore:

  1. Muffin
  2. Croissant
  3. Bear Claw
  4. Puff
  5. Donut (6 variants)
  6. Cake

Lore continuity

TerraBrew’s signage makes it clear they sell more than coffee. Their branding includes icons for:

  1. Bakery (croissant)
  2. Donut (donut)
  3. Dessert (ice cream cone)

In vanilla Starfield, none of the food items listed in the signage existed, and ice cream didn’t make sense anyway… TerraBrew locations don't have freezers.

In TerraBrew+, the dessert icon has been updated to a cake icon to better match what the locations could realistically offer.

There was also a mismatch involving Coffee Bags: they were labeled as Tranquilatea products despite having TerraBrew’s geometric design and appearing almost exclusively in TerraBrew locations. Tranquilatea never implies they produce coffee, but TerraBrew absolutely does. To fix this inconsistency, the bags now correctly display TerraBrew branding.

Compatibility & Extensibility

Updates 2 vanilla textures: “tbscreens01_color.dds” (ice cream to cake) and “fooddrink_set_coffeebag_color.dds” (Tranquilatea to TerraBrew).

Edited multiple vanilla locations to add in the new food items. Touched some vanilla objects to reposition them for screen visibility, spacing, or placement of new food items. Overall, it is very minimal and additive, not reductive.

Thanks

Special thanks to Desqel for help with model adaptation and integration, Marv's Bytes for assistance with the container mesh used in item selection, DaAngryMechanic for work on the donut models, and Malloy for help with mesh collision.
